Ndlex, 14 Jun 2024A34 because it uses media Teck CPU long lasting battery Can confirm as I'm currently using a Galaxy A34 5G.Exynos chipset has comparable high power draw, and marginally high standby draw too from the in-depths review I've read.MediaTek seems to have found good balance with power and efficiency. So I'm skipping this and waiting for a MediaTek or Snapdragon powered A series phone ( mainly because of their SD card inclusion functionality)

ABC, 12 Jun 2024Should i go for A34 or A35 ?
Please help..There isn't a huge difference if you'll only use it for normal apps & you don't care about the front design:
⚫️A35
➕ Modern punch-hole camera design
➗ Flat sides
➖ Black plastic camera rims
➕ Slightly thinner bezels (negligible)
➕ Glass back
➕ Slightly tougher Gorilla Glass Victus+ (won't matter if you put a screen protector)
➕ Maybe eSIM support (region dependent)
➕ Improved photo processing (nicer photos, but the same lenses & the same frame rates. Check YouTube for a Photo/Video comparison)
➕ Slightly faster WiFi 6 (won't matter if your router is old)
➕ Slightly faster UFS 3.1 storage speeds (slightly faster heavy apps like games)
➖ Slightly more heat (very negligible)
➖ Slightly less battery life (very negligible)
➕ 1 extra years of updates (4 years left)
⚫️A34
➖ Older teardrop/notch camera design
➗ rounded sides
➕ shiny camera rims
➖ Slightly thicker bezels (negligible)
➖ plastic back
➖ Older Gorilla Glass 5 (won't matter if you put a screen protector)
➖ Maybe No eSIM support (region dependent)
➖ Older photo processing (Same lenses & frame rates, but the photo processing looks more saturated. Check YouTube for a Photo/Video comparison)
➖ Slightly slower WiFi 5 (won't matter if your router is old)
➖ Slightly slower UFS 2.1 storage speeds (not noticeable in normal app loading times, only in heavy apps & games)
➕ Slightly less heat (very negligible)
➕ Slightly better battery life (very negligible)
➖ 1 less years of updates (3 Years left)
If there's a big price gap then A34 is a good value, it's almost the same exact phone. Get it if you don't mind the older look. But if you want to use it for 4 years then A35 is more future proof, it looks more modern & has 1 extra years of updates.

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2024I think the biggest differences are the aluminum frame and ... moreThe Exynos 1480 is actually worse than the 1380 cuz on Warzone the 1480 lags and crashes more than a toddler, while the 1380 can play consistently without overheating, lagging or crashing

Gino76ph, 02 Jun 2024Time is running out for me to avail of the May discounts fr... moreI think the biggest differences are the aluminum frame and newer chipset. The aluminum is nice but probably not really noticeable in a case. The newer chipset is an advantage, but that doesn’t mean the one in the A35 is bad. One can always chase the latest, but if that was the goal, then one would have to buy a much more expensive Galaxy S. The other difference is 6GB vs 8GB in the base model. But 6GB is not bad either. At the current price difference in my country for example (245€ vs 327€), I think the A35 makes more sense. I‘d say it provides maybe the best balance of modern features and good value. A25 is good as well, but the design is more outdated and it lacks water resistance, and I think the difference between Exynos 1280 and 1380 was larger (205€ for 6/128GB). A15 is a good value especially the 4G variant if one does not need 5G (132€ and 150€ for 4/128GB), though it’s far from a feature complete phone. A05s is a good phone in concept for a budget device, but at the current price, it makes no sense to get it compared to A15 4G (127€/134€ for 4/64 and 4/128GB). That’s all I have to say on Samsung Galaxy A right now. A05 is not available.
