Are cores clocked at different frequencies otherwise identical? The Cortex-A78 here is 2.4GHz, but it's clocked at 3.1GHz in Dimensity 8200. If so, I'm guessing the choice is also determined how much heat dissipation is allowed by the chassis design.

Upon A35 launch in middle of march, three similar models - the A34, A35 and A54 - will be available either at samsung stores, third parties or online markets. This is initially a setback for A35 sales but good for consumers as we can cherry-pick what we like, or choose one at a price that we like. Look for A54 or A34 discounted prices after the product launch. If you are not living in the Americas region, the A34 will be available in your country too. All three are decent mid-rangers and as mentioned in earlier post, the differences are aesthetics. If you require audio jack and fm radio, then look at the lower tier A25. You become a smart consumer when you compare before purchasing.
