i believe the A35 is just the rebranded A54. besides, i think they're trying to make the A3x series the new A5x, and the A5x series is replacing the discontinued A7x series. hence, the size for both A3x and A5x series got larger and bigger
honestly, if you have other older and lower specs models (e.g: A32/33, A0x series, A2x series), i would definitely recommend A35 as you're getting a huge upgrade
i think samsung should stop producing new models for a year and come back with better specs in 2026. unless they decide to add snapdragon chipset back into their mid-range series next year

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2024True, but the two A78 cores of the D1080 are either equal o... moreactually thats not the case, as the exynos has more power core and more powerful gpu, but the reason game isnt for exynos and ran smoother in the dimensity is largely because exynos is only used by samsung and they have a problem with driver as most games dont utilize exynos chip, so fresh phone using exynos would always have trouble with lag and stuffs and gradually better as they receive annual driver update, it was the case for the A54 and also happened with the A55 too

a35 better than a34, clearly
its kinda odd too, if you kinda dont care about materiel for the frame that you always use case (or no esim, maybe on other place have esim which mine not), well a35 is more recommended than a55 IF YOU CANNOT WAIT.
The only thing that a35 under than a55 beside i said before, is gaming performance BUT since A55 use new chipset, some setting not open yet in A55 (for example MLBB ultra not open in A55 but in A35 already open). Screen same, speaker similar and even photo/video is similar with A55, like a55 nothing much better than a35 for now.
A35 is kinda proper in software for the chipset since a34 use this chipset so majority of the software used from a34 put in a35 with little bit improvement HOWEVER a55 probably need to wait for 3-6 month to make it proper after update. both have 4 years update so good phone.
cheaper 70$ than a55 have advantages, you can buy charger and case by that amount of money and saving some. yeah u understand, no more charger and case from samsung.

Everything is about marketing nowdays.

I don't buy that battery life test (not that I doubt GSMArena!).
This is literally the same device as A54. Same android version. It can't achieve hours more in gaming and browsing. Never.
