Anonymous, 21 Mar 2025How much cloud storage do you have that you can backup all ... moreI have 1TB of storage space with One Drive. Which is included with my Office 365. Which costs me around $40 a year. By getting it when on sale. I also use Google and Amazon cloud storage. But, I only use those with pictures and videos. While I use One Drive for everything.

Unfortunately, in the cell phone industry, the goal is to remove the storage slot. When read and write speeds were slow, a large majority had this feature, now that speeds are much faster, it is being disabled.

aaronwt, 20 Mar 2025I would not want to go back to using MicroSD cards in phone... moreHow much cloud storage do you have that you can backup all the files on your phone? If you paid for that, wouldn't SD card be a cheaper way of file backup?

SERIOUSBLACK47, 18 Mar 2025It doesn't have sd support?I would not want to go back to using MicroSD cards in phones. I've been using cell phones for thirty one years now. Only two times have I ever had any issues with files. And both of those times were from the MicroSD cards. I've never run into any issues with files on the internal memory. And, if I need extra storage I just use the cloud. SInce I backup all the files on my phones automatically to the cloud anyway.

In my country at the moment, the lauch promotion makes the far better A56 12/256 for 400 euros, only 50 euros more than the A36 8/128...easy to make my choice.

AsagiX, 19 Mar 2025Calm down.
1) I did not promote ONE UI. What I mean I hav... moreAgain, different people value different things.
I can see, and respect, that you value the software that Samsung is using. And thats fair.
Just as someone being willing to trade 3 years of OS updates, for example, for a better spec'd phone for the same price or even lower, is absolutely fine. (phone doesnt suddenly stop working without OS updates)
When i mentioned other phones, it wasnt about the phones themselves, but their own "OneUI" as people, depending on what they're looking for, seem to like their skins.
You will always have "trolls" and what i believe to be paid bots in every comment section shilling for their bff corporation, you just have to ignore them. Just read/watch the reviews and skim through the comments.
For example, i was eyeing the Nothing Phone 3a, since its in my budget and seems to be decent (could have faster storage and ram for example).
If i followed the comments about that phone i would be calling the Vatican, because some comments are treading Nothings CEO as satan and nothing phones as the most evil thing on earth.
Instead, im waiting to see if they can make their image processing better, for better photo/video quality.

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2025With all due respect, you are acting in the exact same way ... moreCalm down.
1) I did not promote ONE UI. What I mean I have very good experience on Samsung system from using J3 Pro and A52. And I have disappointed on Miui while using Redmi Note 5AI and Redmi Note 9 was the most BS phone ever I have been using from Miui system to the phone itself. My point is, what is the point to habing great phone spec but phone system which is their core is sluggish and buggy? And like I say, I bought a phone that I want to use it immediately, not need to custom, flashing, etc, and I dont want to do extra step just to disable ads. If other user eant to do so, then do. As for me, Im not into those thing.
2) You mentioning why didn't I mention other phone? It is obviously because I did notusing other phone. Not because Im loyal for Samsung or anything, it is because I dont have a reason to do so. The last time Im using other Android brand other than Samsung & Xiaomi are Oppo Neo 5s (2016), Huawei Ascend Y300 (2013), Lenovo (2015). Ya sure it will be fair to using those model to comparing latest phone model? Im also using 14 Pro Max right now and it would be no brainer to include my experience using it too for Android discussion.
3) Incase you did not see, Im saying it again. Im tired seeing Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco fans keep saying other brand model overprice and not worth for specification for the offered price on MOST PAGE I VISIT ON THIS WEBSITE. Why did I mean on the caps letter? It is because Im surveying new phone to buy to replace my A52 that I have been using since 2021, and not just Samsung, I did also check such Nothing 3a, Oppo Reno 13F, etc. Most opinion I saw is just hatred comment just because the spec little less par with the price keep saying "better buy redmi/poco/xiaomi" just because those brand offer better spec phone but forgot those got bug sluggish system and ads.
4) Now you talked about "Some overprice phone is good and some is bad" and yes you correct about that, but I did not remember I saying all oveprice phone is good. What Im really said is people should not judging "this phone is overprice with sucks spec" but did not bother to check the advantage. Like:
I) Nothing 3a little expensive because their CEO already mentioned they still small conpany thus bearing more part supplying cost thus affect Nothing phone production, and adding wireless charging costing more and not all smartphone user use wireless charging
II) Samsung A36 & A56 downgraded some feature like no SD card slot and all performance jack-all-trade may look overprice, but they do offer longer support such 6 years system & android upgrade. From the view of user that constantly changing phone or prefer better performance might questioning "what is the point offering long support but low spec device? Who gonna buy this?" people who prefer jack-all-trade performance (though A36 bad on gaming) and want to use very longer time but dont want invest money on flagship will prefer A series. Infact up till now my A52 LTE still excellent, only little small issue.
III) Honor X9C 5G spec is little off for its price, but through marketing they more focusing on durability, and thr camera still offer good photography (not the video, its lil bad).
IV) Oppo Reno 13F spec is decent equipped with old chipset and sometimes heating, but they offer potential underwater camera and offer very good AI features.
5) This is what I found base on user opinion and unpaid review vids through my searching for my A52 replacement. Of you still not get what I meant here is: Each model has their target for offered features on their model. Not all smartphone user want better chipset. That is why some model looks overprice what they offer. And yet some dumb comment "Who will buy these garbage, better by Xiaomi" on most page I visited on GSMArena that is why Im calling them fans bois. I very rarely seen other brand user calling other brand trash (except iPhone).
6) Again, I did not bashing Xiaomi/Redmi/Poc fans boi. Am just tired seeing how they keep garbaging other brand/model base on specification on most model page on GSMArena (and other website as well). This is encouraging phone user to overlook the featured/advantage of the phone model offered.

AsagiX, 18 Mar 2025Whenever any phone model page I visited on this website, I ... moreWith all due respect, you are acting in the exact same way as those "xiaomi fans".
You criticize bug system full of ads that can be removed if the users want to. (just like you do with the bloaware)
They criticize the hardware, which no end user will ever change.
You praise OneUI while other people can do the same with Pixel's, Motorola's, Nothing Phone's, Oppo's, and so on.
Different people value different things. When you say that "just because you see low spec on model spesification doesnt mean they bad", you are 100% right, but it doesnt mean that they are good either. They can indeed be worse that other phones in the same price tier (hence people recomomending poco or xiaomi).
Removing the headphone jack on their phones is bad for those that use it, but you can still use bluetooth even if its worse.
Removing the sd card option makes no sense. Even if one doesnt use it, its still there as an option. Instead they remove it and users get no benefit. Phones are still as expensive as ever and with anemic levels of storage.
I guess they have a userbase that doesnt care about the phones that they buy, only that the android skin is stable and pretty. Lets see if it'll work out for them in the future.

Whenever any phone model page I visited on this website, I always see and tired with comment from xiaomi fans boi. They keep saying 'redmi/xiaomi/poco is better choice on this price tag' but they forgot apparently not all smartphone user interested to pay high spec phone but sluggish, bug phone system along with ads. As for me, I want a phone that I can just effort to only uninstall bloatware. I don't want buy a phone that need to flash/custom ROM, need to do this and that to disable ads or anything. Just grow up already.
This phone is entry midrange and jack all trade but chipset plus ONE UI system very stable from my experience using J3 Pro 2017 (forgot it is ONE UI or different Samsung software but no issue), and have been using A52 since 2021 till now and no issue on system at all, only minor issue on the phone (not system). From my experience using two Redmi smartphone (Note 5 AI & Note 9) system is too buggy plus Note 9 most disappointed phone I ever own on my life.
These Xiomi fans bois need to stop misleading people to not buy anything and only Xiaomi phone "You can get better Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco phone with this price than these garbage brand", just because you see low spec on model spesification doesnt mean they bad. This is one of the reason why I watch review on Youtube than checking on opinion on this website. And thank goodness at least there is actual model user on this website that still give feedback from their experience using said model.

Wouldn't be the Galaxy A36 slow do... moreI'm not sure, looking at the development of android phones today, it seems like it would be feel like a low end phone at that time, of course including the features that will be severely restricted just like low end phone. it should still be worth using until entering year 6 or 7

I have a question?
Wouldn't be the Galaxy A36 slow down after 6 years of OS update. I mean the android at the time of 4-5 years from now will be pretty heavy, so can this processor run those future android versions properly without any performance issues
I really want answer to this question...
