Joe, 15 Apr 2025LOL its not the reason.Yeah. The problem is definitely One UI 7. I have observed such stutters and lag even on the Galaxy A56, which has a much more powerful ARM v9 CPU, UFS 3.1, faster RAM, and the in-house CPU is theoretically easier for Samsung to optimize for. Hopefully the Samsung software team gets their stuff together and fixes this, because the software experience was the one area where they always had the edge. If they lose that, the brand loses most of the appeal it had left.

I've bought a36 for 3 days,it is ok generally;the only thing that I can mentione is the high temperature vs a34 that I had before.
By using simple app like Instagram for 10 mins , the phone is getting hot ,maybe 38c or more
And I don't know why this happens

I was still tempted to get the A36 because the SD6G3 is still a pretty decent SOC and the device should have good reception. However, I could not handle the A36 display's PWM. It is worse than on the A35 and even A55, going from 120 to 360 Hz depending on brightness setting, and with a less flat amplitude. I got a headache from just three minutes of trying it out.
I finally stopped hesitating and just went for the A35 (8GB/256GB). PWM frequency is not high, but better than on the A36, very flat amplitude, and consistent across all brightness levels. And the A35 seems to be still better than the A36 at a few things.

Asim Siddiq, 09 Apr 2025That's because it has UFS 2.2 storage type.Honestly, this device is what the Galaxy A26 should have been. This device as it is (with may be a shared memory card slot included) would have mode more sense if it was priced at around 70-75% of the current release price.
They should have either used a more powerful SOC or at the very least provided UFS 3.1 storage, which would better handle those six years of OS and security updates. If that one change was made (UFS 3.1 instead of 2.2) but with everything else still the same, then this might have been worth consideration. And even then, it would still be a tad under-powered for the price.

Brands like Mi and Oppo are giving 120 watt charging claim when the SOC itself supports half that value . Plus faster charging means faster battery draining and damages the battery faster. 45 W , 65W ,120W are just peak numbers . Once the phone starts heating the charging speed decreases drastically.
My Motorola and Samsung has same claimed mAh but my samsung lasts more practically .

6 gen 3 @ 34k ewwww, realme providing 6 gen 4 under 17k . apart from ui, os update policy and camera ,all other aspect realme p3 wins or at least on par with given specs . talking about brand value these kind of specced mid range phones are mostly use and throw after 2 or 3 years albeit 6 gen os upgrade is welcome but do you really think these mid range smartphone`s hardwares like battery and processors will keep up/ last that much ? on a side note you dont get the full fledge one ui like those of the flagship at the same time to justify the exorbitant pricing . and samsung burried 3.5 mm jack way too loong ago for these suppost mid range but now the new trend no expandable storage to push people to use cloud storage and thier expensive ssds to cope with it.

I've had this cell phone for 4 days and honestly I have slowness/freezing animations when closing applications or changing apps and it's unstable I imagine that a software update will help do you have the same problem? I think is about UI 7 animations optimisation but not sure.

My needs are that I want a no-nonsense daily driver that will perform well for business tasks, casual photography and will last me at least 5-6 years without a fuss. I currently have a M31.

panic, 01 Apr 2025Apple also sells phones with 8GB of RAM, such as the iPhone... moreBig mistake you make bro, RAM usage is so different between IOS and Android, so a 4 GB Ram Iphone is performing much better than 8GB Android flagship counterpart.
