After upgrading to 7.0 my A3 was very slow. I did reset and resolved but now it does not capture GPS signal ... What can I do?

Finally there is a patch released for Nougat that fixes the charging issue.

i am using this device for a year now
every thing is awsome in this device but recently the nougat update has brought a battry bug to it. its not as good as it was in marshmallow or lollipop
and its not even lasting a single day
have to charge by the of the day

for battery improvemet ,try to disable improve accuracy in location setting and disable use current location in weather forecast app

I can't dow... moreIt doesn't matter anymore as i sold my A3... i got bored of waiting Nougat update and phone wasn't really that good anyway. No more Samsung phones for me but i have Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) and that did receive Nougat update couple of months ago :) For some reason Samsung's tablets get updates faster than phones, at least here in Finland.

I am disappointed with nougat on A3 2016, performance down, killing battery, apps crashing intermitently, wifi is crap, overall it's a bit of sh.t. I would never update if I know this.

Amazing performance upgrade after Nougat, but at the cost of battery life... I swear I charge it twice often now :,)

If you see the back panel near the volume button you can understand that battery puff.
and it means that battery will power less than before. replace the battery may fix the issue.

Im getting 24hrs battery life on nougat...i was getting about 36hrs on marshmallow. Also sot on msm was 7hrs and now is bit below 5hrs on nougat. They advertised about 10% better battery life on nougat but its 30% worse than before. Would never upgrade if i knew that
