I'm curious abot ip68... Who actually needs that? Please help me to understand. I usually buy a protective case so my phone looks brand new even after 3 years of usage. I do not use phone under water, when showering, swimming... Why do you guys need ip68?

Really disappointed with this phone. The finger print recognition is 0ainfully slow and there is No NFC on this device. All the other review sites and even Samsung site says it has, but the one for the UK market hasnt.

Hello! I am considering purchasing this smartphone. However I read in previous comments about a network issue, slow internet speed, etc. occurring after June update. I couldn't find information about it on reddit or other forums, just comments here. Would you say these are isolated incidents or a known issue (for which simply I can't find further information)? If this is a common known issue since the June update could you please tell me if you know when is the August update dropping that could be possible solving the problem. Thanks!

If you need ip68 go for A8+ if not go for A50
Display:
They both have pretty great displays but A50 has a a bigger screen with more ratio
Battery: A50 has a bigger one and it actually lasts really long if you can use the phone but A8+ is decent in this deoartment as well
Build Quality: A8+ easily wins here. Better positioned camera and glass back, what else to say?
Camera: This one is completely up to you if you are an ignorant fool who opens camera takes a picture in 2 seconds then put the phone back into your pocket than you will have problems but if you give them some more time, a mere 5 seconds at least, AI will do its job and you will have a better picture or you can just use manuel mode and do everything in the way you want. Saying A50 is superior or A8+ is superior would be wrong except for A50 having Ultra Wide and depth sensor for extra. And also extra things like slow-motion and extra-stability. Also 2 front facing cameras doesnt get A8+ points cuz A50 has background blurring already
Memory: Depends to your region completely but A50 has a bigger capacity when it comes to SDcard (up to 1 TB VS 256 GB)
Performance: Both are midranger with only one year apart so not much fference is expected but A50 has a superior chipset and can run HDR smoothly on PUBG so.....
Fingerprint: Front > Rear and Front Speed < Rear Speed so its completely up to you

A50 is a great mid range device, I'm really happy with it as it has everything you need in a smartphone.

Also, A50 has very low SAR, so it is better for your health.
I own A50, very happy with it.
