I went to the stores and ... moreIt's good that you do research. My friend has A50. I didn't see him complaining about network and stuff (so idk) but I tested its camera and it wasn't much good.
If you want excellent camera and performance, go for Realme 3 Pro.
It offers almost everything A50 does - but handles it much better, including gaming. Though, its battery doesn't last 2 full days which is its only shortcoming.
Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 7 Plus are also a good choice.
Nokia 8.1 also has amazing performance, battery and camera.
Nokia 7 Plus takes excellent portraits - its edge detection is unmatchable among the 50+ devices I've checked in this price range.
Huawei P30 Lite isn't as great as the three above, but it's good enough if you want to consider Huawei in this price range.
Though, if performance is all you care about then Nokia 8 is best for gaming and takes really good pictures as well - much better than A50. Gcam can further improve its camera result. Performance is good enough to handle PUBG on Ultra HD, Extreme FPS flawlessly.
Its shortcoming are smaller battery capacity and size, if you care about that.
All of these phones are good quality, without any of the the issues you mentioned in A50.

Hope Samsung pay will come in A50 fingers crossed

Every smartphone has its shortcomings and the closest competitor to A50 is the huawei p30 lite.
And some cases its better than the A50.
Again there is also another choice - Huawei Y9 prime 2019 with full view display and pop up camera .
Or i should advice you that we wait for the huawei Mate 30 lite no thats gonna take long before its unveiled
