V, 05 May 2020I faced the same GPS issues with my A50 too. So when you sw... moreAlso the chipset has nothing to do with GPS accuracy. And exynos 9610 is on par with snapdragon 660 don't worry. Likely its google maps fault or something running in the background consuming CPU power.

So when you sw... moreAll phones take a while to get a fix on GPS, if it is taking longer for you this means that your network is slow and downloading Almanac for the GPS is taking slightly longer. If you have no internet connection at all it takes a few minutes for the phone to download Almanac from the satellites themselves at an awful 10 Bit/s (the satellites fault not gps).

Anonymous, 04 May 2020You can debloat it if you want to.I faced the same GPS issues with my A50 too. So when you switch on the gps and start navigating, it doesn't change its location and suddenly it works after 3-4 seconds. I have faced it so many times that I can't rely on this now. Though it doesn't lag much but when it do, it does it like hell till you restart your phone. I have looked up the 7X series of Exynos processors and found that these processors are not good when compared to the Qualcomm chips (instead of the camera performance).
P.S. The phone gets hot and drains battery super fast while calling with WiFi Calling turned on.
