Bought the A50 a year ago, just before Easter the LCD Display cracked - display did not function. Crack when out from the front camera. So sent to Samsung for repair, came back after Easter.
After 10 days hung on the charger, left overnight, on the next morning, the glass at the lower end of the display had sprung. Samsung will another 104€ for the repair :-(.
Facit: Phone is ok, Samsung service is not worth calling a service.

I am using this phone for a year... moreThe gaming performance is to blame mali G72 mp3 GPU not the exynos, PUBG runs well under medium settings, make sure to disable power saver because it limits performance. If you found bugs in the OS, complaining here won't fix them, report to samsung.
Anyway no one will buy A50 because his succesor the A51 was already launched.

Hello guys. HONEST REVIEW. I am using this phone for a year. I would not recommend anyone to buy this phone SMA50F because this phone really not worth it. I cant dent that this phone have such a great camera, ui and much more but if you compare other phone with this same price, you can get much more than you expect from this phone. 1.Software updates are becoming much in pace. 2.New Android 10 upgrade have bugs that frequently can be noticed when attending calls. 3.Camera is not that great compared to the other competitors. 4.Exynos really sucks, you cant even play any high end games (PUBG, Mobile Legends and more) even with lowest graphic settings because the game performance will start to lagg and skip frames especially after 10 months of buying the phone. 5.The phone becomes really hot when charging or playing games. So hot... Such a dissapointing. Please consider my opinions beforw buying this product.

Amirboli, 26 Apr 2020Have you ever used A50 ? It will change your mind then .I have used both so I can give a first hand info about them. I bought the Galaxy A50 in November. Screen got blank a couple of months. My warranty got it replaced though. The phone did lag and heat up at times. I am using the Redmi Note 8 Pro now and I can tell you categorically that the only areas the A50 wins is the Amoled screen and OneUI(subjective). Samsung mid-range phones are not given the same dedication as the flagships. The Note 8 Pro is just better, more powerful, better battery, smoother, more optimised in short. If you don't have an aversion to LCDs and MiUI, choose the Note 8 Pro.

After android 10 update screen now looks like it has green filter. All colours are off and dark mode makes no sense because when screen is black then screen is actually a little bit green.

Dingy, 27 Apr 2020Here we go, blaming the user. What's your deal with these c... moreWhat blaming the user? He is asking for advice and I gave him a probable cause. No way samsung rolls update in middle east and doesn't roll it in india. India got the update by march, I am trying to help not blame.
For your info, most users who play mid tier games and do light tasks won't notice much of a difference between snapdragon and exynos.

Dxomark rating of Samsung A71 camera test is 84 and Samsung A50 rating is 85....
A71 users i feel bad for you..
