A50s is not among the phones that Samsung has promised there android version update. By the way little more expressive A51 with same processor is in the list. So i would like more of us to question this decision to Samsung on social media so that they may would consider a50s as well for updates .

Does anyone notice that if bluetooth is on, it doesn't indicate it with the icon on the top right of the homescreen, but shows it on the notification screen, which is silly coz the bluetooth button there already shows if it's on or off. Also, does anyone know if Samsung has got any plans to issue a software tweak for the underwhelming camera of the A50s?

Oh and one more IMPORTANT thing with this A50s. All ROMs are for Asian regions. Couldn't find any UK,or European ROM. So for now stuck with Indian ROM( INScode), which is full of ads and bloatware. Normally would root it but as it is the "backup " phone I don't really bother...

Well... reading all these comments makes me wonder if anyone has the phone in possession. Bought this phone (A50s) for a sentimental reason. Used to be a die hard Android user, but now iPhone is the daily driver. So back to topic. Most of the complains are overrated. This is a MIDRANGE device so obviously you can't expect a flagship performance. Heating is there but it's a minor issue. Playing "heavy " games takes its toll. Battery life is a bit of disappointment, considering its 4000mAh battery, which last me a 2 days. Can see a bit of sluggish performance (compare to my previous S10+), but can live with that. Wifi is ok as long as you hook up on 2.4GHz. In 5GHz it's VERY weak connections, unless you're within 3 meters from the rooter. The customization is much better than on iOS obviously. To set up the iPhone as close as possible to my s10 took me nearly 2 hours, so Android is the winner for sure. Long story short, happy with my move to iOS. If you want great performance guys aim for a flagship device...

priya, 26 Jun 2020my samsung a50s automatically hangs up while i m on a call,... more A50s is terrible. it gets heated up like a heater and then gets turned off, hangs alot.. sometimes more than 15 times in a day..its really terrible and not at all value for money and even samsung service centre is worst. They do not have any parts and demands such extra cost. Do not buy this phone. It's terrible. samsung service centre is fraud+worst.

This phone is a normal multimedia and not for gaming. So don't use for heavy games and shut the ......up

My phone A50s heating too much for mobile data and for wifi also it got hot.
Before this one I used Samsung S7,it also heating too much.
is this is a common problem for Samsung phones?

After the june 2020 update, Netflix is not playing in HD, only SD. Play back spec says its widevine l3 before it has been always l1.

After new update pubg cant play in smooth-extreme and cant play in hdr.
