Djingo , 17 Feb 2020I own the phone. But i'm nit sure if i have to be happy abo... moreI try out A51 & A71 in Samsung shop, I decide to choose A71 at the end, though I like A51 compact size, but the overall performance really dissapoint me, noticeable lag & very bad cameras.
The price difference between A51 & A71 in my country mere 90 usd, A71 is value for money.

Hi Buddies,
I am using this phone for past 3 days and here are my honest views/observations:
1. The phone looks stunning, the AMOLED screen is very punchy and soothing to look at.
2. Exynos is NOT slow, the phone does smooth multitasking without any lag.
(But we must remember its not a dedicated gaming phone - dont compare with RN8Pro gaming performance)
3. Power On/Off is simple, there are soft buttons in notification panel and we may configure lock button as power On-Off / Restart button.
4. There was a minor issue with Bluetooth connectivity, But it got resolved in the security update that I received yesterday.
5. Screenshots - The phone offers multiple modes to take screenshot and it even suggests which are we want to take screenshot of. We can even take longer screenshot by scrolling, we can even annotate screenshots.
6. Cameras are above average, both still and video shooting. Macro mode is mind blowing.
7. Speaker volume is also loud, however, many individual ringtones have lower volume. Try ringtones like 'basic bell', '80s phone' , 'over the horizon' and you'll feel the loudness of phone.
7. The phone looks and feels like Note 10 lite.

I come from a 4 ye... morehuawei p9 lite had an antutu of 50000 or so and this is like 150000, you should test PUBG in both phones and see which performs better, probably that particular game runs bad on exynos or simply in the tiny screen of your old phone animation flaws are less apparent.
On the wifi you need to reset your router and the phone or even borrow another router, if everything fails report the bug and likely the phone will be updated later on.
The phone is rather new and issues often happen, I never buy a phone when is just out, I wait until bugs are fixed.

Am facing bluetooth issue.
When ever I connect to a wireless headset and am playing music. The automatically disconnects and reconnect back... I don't why it's happening but it's so annoying knowing this and can't use a headset.
I hope this issue will be fixed very soon with updates

I have mixed feelings about this phone.
I come from a 4 years old huawei p9 lite and i don't know if i am better with my brand new A51 or not....
The batterij is not as good as the one in the p9 lite...how is that possible?!
Grafics...i am not a gamer or so, the only game i play on daily base is 8 ball pool. On my p9 lite the balls where rolling smooth just like it was real. On this brand new, modern, 4 years younger A51 the balls are moving shocking...
Wi-fi...i have never had a problem being connected in my house, now with the A51 i must login 5 times a day because the damn thing looses the signal and everytime i have to give in the password all over again.
The greatest problem is that i can't switch to another phone because this damn A51 is a birthday present from my wife...if i say this phone is a piece of sh#t compared to my prehistoric p9 lite...

Just Fabulous...I love it. I have been using it last 15days almost. I love it. It's One UI 2 just awesome.

Just realised it's a general problem. It doesn't last like other 4,000 MAH devices. However, A51 is a great phone.
