Now you are right phones are improving very slowly, if you feel your phone is still good enough, why change it, just get a new battery for it when you need it.

I got this phone as a gift and I tried it out before giving it to my dear younger brother.

So, what I like about this phone is the battery, the 4000mAh battery will last you entire day even with above moderate usage at 100% brightness, then we have a camera which is decent.

Design is something that I like and dislike at the same time, I love the rainbown pattern showing itself on that black back of the phone and I also like how thin bezels of the screen are, but I dislike that camera rectangular on the back, just for the place where it is positioned.

Now, there are some issues, main issue is performance. Even at first day of use I could se significant difference between A51 and my year old S10e even on minor tasks. With longer use more issues popped up, such as the lag and the phone freezing.
Another issue I noticed as soon as I powered it on is - the display. It just isn't that crisp as the one on my S10e, despite the fact that even the S10e isn't as crisp as the regular S10 or the S10+, but S10e display is still pretty decent.
When we talk about the audio, things are just... disappointing. Not only it lacks the quality on the audio itself (using S10 AKG headphones) but to add the insult to the injury - headphones that you get with the phone are just below any standards for midrange phone. Bad quality, there is cheap flimsy feel to them, those earbuds aren't in-ear ones, and are pretty uncomfortable, to make it worse they keep falling out, and the audio you get from them is far from acceptable. They just put them inside the box for the sake of it.
Then annoyance with Bixby since power button is also Bixby button, and much to my frustration I have to go to notification bar then to quick settings and then I have to find power off button. If I use physical button to turn the phone on, why can't I use that same physical button to power it off???

Then we come to the price of this device. I got mine as a gift from my ex girlfriend meaning I didn't pay for it. She got it from someone else and since she is an iOS person the same as her parents, she thought it would be a good idea to give it to me as she tries to make me forgive her for what she did while we still dated...
Back to topic, this phone costs 400 Euros. The max I would pay for it would be around 250 Euros. Ideal price would be 200 Euros.
I paid 460 Euros for my S10e when I bought it months ago, and that device is lightyears away from the A51.

Please someone make an indoor lowlight test because I am very dissapointed by the first impression of the device when I used it in the store for half an hour. The only thing that I did not try is the low light test indoors.
But I am dissappointed because I compared it with my A3 2017 which is now 3 years old and when I put the one next to the other, my A3 2017 is equal or better for everyday task performance like messenger, chrome, youtube, FB, IG, Gmail. Camera quality for indoor with normal to high litgh is almost the same, but a51 has almost no settings for the camera at all. A51 has bigger display size and ppi, better chipset (on paper), and good videostabilization. Everything else is alomst the same like before 3 years or worse. So I am not going to pay 300 euro for worse panel quality, almost same camera, just newer chipset, bigger screer and worse battery life.
If you want to make joke with your self and to disrespect your money and the effort to earn them, you should buy that phone.
In the last few years they were making phones. Now thay are making business.

in my country. Which one should i choose? Usebility with one hand is also important for me.

                        NEED YOUR OPINION GUYS!!!

Going on a holiday this March. Hint: somewhere cold with lots of snow, small city tours and something that you can see in the sky only at night

Between the Galaxy A51 and Motorola One Zoom which one has seriously more capable front & rear camera in terms of natural colour (warmer & a bit saturated), contrast, sharpness, dynamic range (no overblown highlights), above average low lights capabilities (no yellow/green/purple/orange fringing), video stabilisation, audio recording (stereo with higher bitrate) better selfies and an ultrawide rear camera?

I can't believe Sammy is charging so much for this phone, when the A51 is right in the middle of a midranger market. For the price you have so many more choices, and even for half the price you would find handsets with similar feature set or performance.

Shame on you Samsung, You have the nerve! And this is coming from a former Samsung user.

Your usage of the phone can impact how easily will slow down and YES if you hard reset your system, the phone can recover it's performance fully.

Obviously if your phone is way fast even if it slows down it will not be as noticeable than a slower phone.

Maaty007, 10 Feb 2020I have been using A51 for a week. I'm very unhappy with my ... moreU were using iPhone 7 prior to this and U say this have bad battery life? That iphone has 1960 mah, worst battery life on any iphone ever. Don't get it.

I do get you have used high end phones and one gets demanding, move to a midrange and you will find it lackluster.

I think you should move back again to a higher end device and stay there and sell this and quit being pissed at it.

I have been using A51 for a week. I'm very unhappy with my purchase. (6RAM/128GB)

Device is laggy, buggy, poor battery, poor sunlight visibility, blurry photos/slefies!!! and does not provide a consistent performance whether you are gaming or browsing. I think it is because of the poor software integration rather than actual specs but Samsung is not really famous for frequent updates for non flagships.
It is my first Samsung in a few years. I was using an Iphone 7 perior to this. I have also owned and used Galaxy S6, S3, Xiaomi Redmi note 2 and I could say without doubt that Xiaomi offered the most frequent updates for any cheap phone I have ever owned also the performance was phenomenal for the price. S6 was a very good device with endless possibilities and frequent updates but it was very expensive at launch. Iphone offers the most consistent and reliable performance ever.

*If you want to buy a flagship or a great reliable phone then buy a Samsung S/ Iphone
*If you are on a budget then buy Xiaomi
*If you want a midranger then and older model Iphone for camera, reliability and dare I say gaming/ Xiaomi or Huawei for performance and high framerate

Big companies do not care about low/ midrange devices as other emerging manufacturers that provide much more for money in terms of performance and updates (beware of poor quality check on Xiaomi though because you could have minor issues with second SIM card or speakers etc other than that great all rounders)

*Thats my first review I felt the need to share my experience specially that i really like tech and been using gsmarena for over a decade but please take my opinion with a pinch of salt and correct me if I'm wrong.
