No thanks i am very happy with my A50. I mean why should i even upgrade. Although the front design is dope and i loved it minimum bottom chin and the O cut is tiny but atleast this time they could have used glass back. The back design is okay for me but not happy with the plastic. Now if i talk about processor its ridiculous !! Samsung wants us to upgrade from Exynos 9610 to 9611 is a joke. Atleast use a Snapdragon-675 or 712. C'mon samsung whats wrong with you its the upcoming 2020 damm it. Now next comes the camera department i mean 48 mp ? Where Xiaomi and Realme are hell bent on serving 64 mp camera under 16K mark ! Even the image processing is terrible on A50 whenever i zoom pics it tear off. Battery is 4000 mah in 2020 ??? Atleast 5000 mah. It consumes too much battery in amoled screen how could ignore these facts samsung how. Now if i had to upgrade i may go for A71 but they will have provide it on a competitive price.

I guess A51 would be market on late Jan or Feb 2020 in Malaysia.The price @ RM1,299 or 1,399...

And yeah, Samsung has been milking the A73 + A53 ARM cortex combo for their Exynos in such a long time while the other SoC manufacturers (MTK, Huawei and Qualcomm) already has moved on to A76 + A55 cortex combo for their mid-rangers. IDK why Samsung still do that, they just shrink the process for the 9610 and call it 9611, they're basically the same proc, any features "added" were negligible.

Take a50 and a51 side by side
Same processor 9610 & 9611 no different only numbers
Same battery capacity 4000mh no different
Same fast changing 15w no different
But...more dollars 350$ for A51 (same as a71 and a70) . So that's why am shame on SAMSUNG. Only infinity o cut out. More megapixels..+ macro so you think it is a best upgrade in 2020 ? Other brands offers flagship processors in midrange...more battery capacities...more innovations

Still no 4k, case still made of poor quality plastic which scratches easily, still the same old CPU as the TWO older generations (A50s AND A50), same battery size but bigger screen, no OIS and small aperture for the main camera (even Xiaomi Mi A3 offers f/1.8 with the 48MP sensor). Really poor upgrade. This should have been the A50s, not the newer gen A51.

No 4k video, using crap 9611 in 2020, using 20:9, back design is bad and the price 300$, i wish samsung go bankrupt like sony mobile division

The main camera goes from f/1.7 in the a50 to f/2.0 with more megapixels.... but is easy to score a goal to avg people who confuses more megapixels with quality.
