Does this phone have a front flash?
How about the hand-free? Does its camera and GPS work without stuck?
I bought this phone from Armenia but it made in India. It's chap looking and finishing, hand-free wire is so rough, no attached remote and it was so expensive, equal to one and half month of salary. But production have no such a worth quality. This kind of production destroying the trustworthiness of customers. Only good thing is they provided transparent back cover. Thank you for it.

Why the heck is there always so much negativity for Samsung mid-rangers here? Nothing but endless whining. There is this one guy who said "because most people are satisfied with their purchase and don't come here to complain", which is a very good point, and reminds one of how the internet amplifies negativity and vitriol. But, good god, the whining here is a bit much. It's one thing to complain and criticise, but it's another to be an ill-tempered brat.

I've been using an A51 (prism crush blue, 128 GB, 6 GB RAM) for a few weeks now. Here are my thoughts.

                                  Too long? Didn't read?
The Galaxy A51 is actually a good device. It doesn't excel in any one area (except may be display, which is just great). But the A51 is a jack of all trades that does well enough in all areas, and these all add up to a satisfying overall package. Do I wish I had an A71? Yes, I sometimes still do. However, because of certain prevailing circumstances, I had to hurriedly purchase an A51 before the A71 actually released in my country. And I found myself actually being satisfied with this device.

And before anyone exclaims "Oh, what a Samsung fanboy!", this is actually my first Samsung smartphone. I know I've left a positive review for the M30s here, but that phone belongs to someone else.

                                  (1) Pictures do not do this phone or the A71 any justice. They look way better in real life. But I do wish Samsung went with a higher quality back-panel matte finish, which wouldn't be a fingerprint-magnet.

                                  (2) The build overall feels sturdier and higher quality than Oppo or Vivo phones in the same price range, and also sturdier than Samsung's own M-series lineup. I have a not-exactly-cheap tempered glass protector on top of the display. I have dropped this phone once while watching YouTube (from a height of about 1 metre). There is no damage so far.

                                  (3) The display is outstanding. In this price range, it is easily one of the best. But I do wish it had a more up-to-date Gorilla glass iteration.

                                  (4) Audio quality from the speaker is above average to good. It isn't stellar, but it gets the job done for voice & video calls on speaker, YouTube, and even a bit of relaxing music. I would describe it as "more than acceptable" but not great. The speaker on the A51 doesn't get as loud as the speaker on the A50s, but the audio quality is definitely far better; A50s audio output is tinny and annoying.

                                  (5) The camera performance is overall good. The main cam does well in both daylight and low-light conditions; it produces images/video with vibrant colours, good details, and good dynamic range (though dynamic range in 48 MP mode is less than in 12 MP mode). The ultrawide cam does quite well in daylight, but low-light performance is underwhelming (though typical for the price range and hardware).

My biggest negative with the camera set-up here is the macro cam. You're actually better off using the main camera in live focus mode to take "macro" shots of small objects from up close.

                                  (6) The battery life is actually good. I don't game hardcore, only casually. I use my phone more for calls (usually 90 to 100 minutes per day), messaging, e-mail, YouTube (mostly documentaries and music), video streaming, and reading. If I start my day at 5 AM with 95% charge in the phone, that will actually last me till lunch or evening the next day (and I always have either wi-fi or mobile data on, except for when I go to bed). That is day-and-a-half battery life, and I have seen a couple of YouTubers and Notebookcheck make similar battery life claims in their A51 reviews.

                                  (7) The Exynos 9611 is, contrary to what some people claim, an actually good SOC. Is it under-powered relative to price when compared to similarly priced offerings from Xiaomi? Yes. But is it a good chipset? Yes. The Exynos 9611 is comparable to the Snapdragon 660 or 665 and is more than enough for daily usage for quite a few years (and even for some gaming). You can play PUBG on high settings with smooth frame rates. And the game will handle Asphalt 9 rather smoothly; there are some stutters here and there, but Geekyranjit noted in his M30s gaming video that this appears to be an issue with the game itself and not the chipset.

The performance out of the box was stuttery in everyday usage (even after reducing animations in advanced settings). However, after the February 2020 updates, the performance improved greatly. It is now overall quite smooth and pleasing. The update also fixed a camera crash issue I was having.

                                  (8) The phone runs cool while in normal use. I have never felt that the phone got too warm, even when doing a bit of gaming. However, it does get a tad warm around the camera module area while charging, which is why I recommend not keeping this device (or any modern smartphone, really) on a bed or pillow while charging. While it's not charging though? Sure, go ahead. I keep it next to my pillow while asleep. Just don't have it under your pillow when you're asleep. That is a big NOPE for ANY mobile phone.

                                  (9) Call quality and signal reception are great. I have had no issues whatsoever with 4G reception on this phone. I have had a few annoying call drops, but this appears to be an issue with the service provider and not the phone. GPS is scary accurate, especially after the February 2020 patch, and does a good job of keeping up with your position when on the road.
