Arguably one of the best A series phone Samsung ever made, only topped by the A52s simply by the chipset. Headphone jack, SD card slot, IP67, 256GB storage option, monthly security patch, and it's getting Android 14, it has everything for everyone. Performance is not comparable to S series, obviously, with hesitancies here and there, but it gets the job done. Durability is also great after all these years. IP67 definitely helps its longevity compared to those Chinese phones without one or just IP53 ratings.

Samsung Galaxy A52 estimated to receive ONE UI 6.0 by 27/11/2023 and might receive Android 14 update as well. If yes, these will be our final update for both ONE UI and Android version, but will still receive security update as will be up 4 years from 2021.

Pretty good phone for it's money, I got it on black Friday 1-1.5 years ago. But after 1 or year or so It started stuttering, lagging when using Bluetooth to play music, and overall feels slow, and the 90hz thingy doesn't help as much either, makes it seem more laggish . Maybe that's my luck or something, but I upgraded for s23ultra, and of course I don't have those problems, but having micro-stutters and stuff in the settings and system may seem a little problem, but I just see them and notice them,

I would not buy Xiaomi smartphones! Why?
Some years ago I bought a Xiaomi mobile phone in Europe.
1. My first impression is that it is very light and comfortable in hand. I was not sure it's strong enough.
2. The initial setup was flawless - just copied my Google Android profile from my previous mobile phone and added my favorite Android apps. Google Play was already installed. The Chinese MiStore was almost impossible to use since every app is in Chinese. The choice of sound alarms was good, but also in Chinese.
3. However, I almost immediately discovered a report from the Clean Master antivirus app that Xiaomi comes with two Android viruses pre-installed - Android.Troj.ya_ExpenPush.ac (a jailbroken device can be controlled remotely by hackers) and Android.MALWARE.at_Coudw. b (may lead to leakage of personal information and deduction of money from your account).
I found on the Internet how to download the original Xiaomi OS and the viruses were removed.
4. Performance was sufficient, but RAM was constantly used over 70% even without an application running. There were a huge number of processes in memory (compared to Samsung Android phone) and it was not clear what they were doing - that was also a security warning.
And one more thing - there are about 10 pre-installed applications - several games and unnecessary tools that are already pre-installed and cannot be removed, only disabled.
5. The price including customs duties was higher than other good options on the market, such as Samsung, Huawei, which have proprietary support in Europe. Xiaomi has no customer support and servers in Europe, all the customer support was directly from servers in China.
As a result, I returned the phone and received the money, but without customs duties.
