I swapped... moreMain reason why glue at the back cover detached is because heat from the phone (depend of how user use of course). Not using the case can be one of the issue but it is not that reason why most people's A52 back cover were detached.
I'm also using the case 98%, reason why Ive god detached is because I often pull out the case for wiping mine.

Since I used mine with a case the back stayed on. I swapped the battery half a year ago and the back still holds. The plastic is not rigid and too flexible, which is why the back can loosen if you don't use a case. I had a Tab S5e and its display was loose because of a really cheap and flimsy plastic midframe.
Samsung should stop this plastic nonsense already. The new models have no improvements in this regard, it will still happen because of the plastic frame.

But its still not considered as major issue, you are not going to use the phone on water very much, it still can withstand with the rain. Major issue is like screen issue, software issue, camera issue, that is called major issue. Not being able to water resistant ip67 is not major issue.
But if the word 'major' you mean does it happens to most/almost A52 yes almost all user A52 said the same thing.

Got a big update with september security patch. Runs fine. This phone is great so far. Only issue is that it doesn't work with American careers well. Sometimes people can't call me. Otherwise still works fine.
