Vlad22, 08 Sep 2021It's still a very good speed, don't get me wrong,... moreIt seems getting a 433 mbps wifi speed cap is your only reason not getting this phone. Does it even matter at all when you'll only achieve Gigabit wifi speeds at home? Besides, at home, you should always use ethernet cables for the fastest, most stable and reliable connections for high bandwidth use devices like when streaming 4K content regularly on a Smart TV.

Elsewhere you'll be actually using 5G mobile data since free Wi-Fi is usually limited to single digit Mbps speeds. So I really don't understand what's with the "I want all the features that I've paid my money for", when this phone clearly is one of the best out there in terms of pricing and what specs and features it has to offer. Maybe you can tell us what's the other phone that you're thinking that may be a better buy than the A52 5G?

Why the hell the A52/5G version, doesn't support Wi-Fi 6, whilst A52s does?

I must say the phone is superb in all areas, no lags whatsoever. All apps run smoothly and the Camera is near excellent. Battery never runs out before the day ends. I usually close the day with 50% battery. If you want to get this phone, never think twice.

I'm confused about the Oneplus 9r and this one, which one should I get? Camera, good battery life and smooth performance is my main priority. Both of these devices are available in similar price ranges in my country.

Be sure your router is Wi-Fi 802.11ac capable and your fiber plan is at least 1Gbps. It should have no problem getting those speeds. Otherwise, restart phone and router and repeat test.

I have a dilemma. Why does both versions of the A52, support only a 433 Mbps link speed, whilst the SoC, SD 720G and 750G, at least 750G, is supposed to support up to Wi-Fi 6 or 2×2 AC MiMo, that means at least a 866 Mbps link speed? Could this be fixed in a further software update or it's a hardware issue?

I've had more issues with my older A71 4G (occasionally stops charging and sometimes doesn't respond to screen taps). Maybe you need to buy it from a more reputable seller than doesn't sell open box units as brand new.

I had a bad experience with the A52, got the first phone about a month ago, less than a week later it went completely irresponsive even to the side button to turn it off, touch screen lighten but didn't respond at all, finally managed to restart the phone, but had other problems with the touch no responding occasionally. I was lucky to get an exchange and was reassured that I was the store's first return. Got the second one and after a long walk it did about the same thing. I believe that is very sensitive to heat. We were having over 30C each time it happens and I was out doors. If you live in a warm country I don't think is a good phone. I'm in Canada, so soon it will cool and hopefully no more problem, had A70 before and was way better, never gave me any problem.

Choose Night Sight option. Compare side by side the GCam Night Sight output of the A52 5G vs. the S20 ultra using night mode in the default Samsung camera app and I guarantee you, the results will give your S20 ultra a run for the money. The darker the scene, the more visible the difference. Here's the link to GCam that I use all the time with the A52 5G (it's really good, certainly better than the default Samsung camera app):

I was an IPhone user before buying A52. What can I say, it is truly amzing Mobile Phone ever.

On the contrary, its screen quality was so impressive and camera was top quality. The point is its battery isn't that good as here in GSMArena reviewed; just normal battery life... And price was just higher than A52... It's much heavier than A52...I never imagined I could stick to A series anytime because I've always thought A series is of low quality. However, now I know how much wrong I was...
