i'm from PH too, will be buying this phone any time soon, any issues with the smoothness experience so far? as i've read here in the GSMarena long term review of this phone, it suffers from occasional i might say.....being slower and having less smoother experience than other devices with the same 778g chipset. but for the complete package of this phone, is what really gets me to buy this phone. thanks.

I for example never bothered to install screen protectors in any smartphones I used till date yet not a single incident of display crack or even scratches. What i use is a basic bumper back case and it is enough to protect minior bumbs and falls. Gorilla Glass 5 has much higher shatter resistance than its older versions. The company promises upto 1.2 meters fall shatter resistance. So if you are careful about your phone to some extent, only a basic back case is enough for a comfortable, lightweight use.

Yes very good for playing games. When I played COD the phone got barely warm and battery discharge rate while on demanding 3D load is satisfactory. Game performance was smooth enough since I am basically a PC gamer with higher end graphics card i don't find mobile gaming anything interesting but still tried running games on it just to see the capability of the phone.
