You might not get it even if some in the same country got it, theoretically. Correct? It's a bit funny to see diff people saying dif things about May update here. It's not as simple as it's May update.

Jayz7, 04 Jun 2022I observed that my device is heating quite a lot while char... moreMine is quite warm too. It's normal, every battery somewhat heats up on fast charging, doesn't it? It gets just slightly warm if charged slowly. You can try that if you haven't yet. (for a couple of charges maybe)
Not much more to say about SOT. It's not quite possible to see what's your use exactly, maybe it's adequate for you Maybe not. Anyway I'd say you ask for all too fast, next day after purchase, literally. No time for battery itself, no time for adaptive to learn your usage. Slow down and wait a little.
Btw my last SOT was about 10:30. No calls, no camera this time, just the internet, some messages, little music through jack. Guess I'm not the only one here 🤔

And I think this is the main culprit behind the battery drain.
I factory formatted my device as I saw many ppls who did this and got better results but in my case the battery is still not holding to the 6 to 7 hrs of SOT..
Any suggestions please...

The May 2022 update hasn't reached Morocco yet. That's too bad because the A52s is supposed to get monthly updates. I check the software updater like everyday, aswell as Smart Switch and the open source SamFirm 😔

Well I switched off AOD, added apps to sleep, switched to 60 Hz and have dark mode turned on. I keep the brightness at a level which is comfortable to the eye not that bright..
And yes I got my unit yesterday and hope that this SOT issue gets sorted out quickly...

Well your SOT seems to be too little. I get regularly 9-10 hours if I do mostly browsing + some messages, media, few shots. I'm on darkmode only, no 5G in common usage, no AOD always on + use some Saving mode (adds more saving features like 60Hz mostly) when it's convenient (let's say minority of time). So think about these compared to your usage. Needless to speak about using in a sunlight. Secondly, I'd give the new battery a little time. You said you got it only yesterday. Try a few full charges at the beginning, then give it some time and you'll see if it gets better. It should, later...

If u r on 120hz n getting 6hrs its fine
If on 60hz then its worrying
Just put all ur apps in deep sleep
Except whatsapp aur any major app notification u need on time
Also after update do reset ur cache
Or a hard reset
N let battery to be settle

Hello everyone..
Got my unit yesterday nd with the limited use I can definitely say that every penny spent is worth it....
Just one thing is bugging me.
I am getting a SOT of approx 6 hrs not a minute more and I feel the battery is draining more quickly than it should be.
I have also added apps into sleep but still no success.
I am not a heavy user nor do I play any games.
Just some Utube and other social media.
Can someone help please...
(I am on the latest software update).
