Staying approx. within 20 to 80% limit is said to give one of the best results in battery health tests. I'm not sure if toping it up higher itself affects it much. Either way, heat does. Personally, I mostly use 'slow' with 80% charge but boost up speed/charge level whenever find it meaningful. Haven't tried 'adaptive' option ever. It kind of requires regular times of use so it can learn user sleep/wake pattern. Its purpose is to reduce charging stress while make sure to start a day with full battery.(really slow charging overnight would be a nice part...likely not included)

Battery precautions show the difference in long-term. Particular user should take this fact into consideration.

      the new update gives u a adaptive option, I turned it on but I'm I'mma ask if is it better to keep it on or not

        who's using here the battery protection feature? Does it really lengthen the battery's life?

                normally, how long should be the screen time for this phone when you are fully charged? Can it last 12 hours of screen time without playing games? Just like using it for social media?

                    A52s is truly the best Samsung midrange phone. A35, A55... they don't even come close maybe besides the build quality. However, that also means bulky weight and size. A52s has more comfortable frame to hold. Not to mention headphone jack, charger in the box... Let me repeat that again, charger in the box!!! I'm gonna complain about it until they finally add it back in the newer models.

                      You cannot disable the recycle bin in the my files and the gallery apps (except the SMS app 'messaging' from android 14.

                      Are you really using a smartphone?.

                          Got one ui 6.1 today (probably the last update who knows), hope it works great.
                          So far this phone is very good.

                                AutoFocus, 29 May 2024A52s seems to have got OneUI 6.1 in some region. Does anyon... moreOne UI 6.1 available in countries of Europe. Download size 2,2GB. By a glance, animations have changed (they're smoother/slower) plus there are several more or less useful changes (new charging settings are useful). Otherwise seems OK (similar battery, bug fee) though it's too early to confirm on the first day.

                                  A52s seems to have got OneUI 6.1 in some region. Does anyone got here and how is it ?

                                    I have been using the phone for about 2 and a half year. Here are some of my thoughts
                                    The bad things
                                    Vibration Motor is so bad, I always have to keep my mi band around for notifications.
                                    Build Quality, The backside of it starts peeling and i need to buy a new back cover from AliExpress with new adhesive
                                    God Awful ram management, once u exit any game even the low level rhythm game to answer a call , it restart the app even helio g99 tablet has better background app management

                                    The Good things
                                    its been 2 years and battery is still perfect, it still lasts the whole day everyday and I don't have to worry about anything
                                    778g can still run any games even demanding games on low to medium setting without any issue
                                    The screen is perfect once u put on a screen protector( default has a lot of fingerprint smudges ) , i seen some burn in on notification shades but nothing much.

                                    The phone works. Its still working i got android 14 about last month by the look of it might last another 1 to 2 years with security patches going until the end of 2025

                                      This model be my last Samsung only to say. First I wan t to by S21FE but for Europe are Exynos chip, after I buy Samsung A52s with Snapdragon in phone be Android 12, i am be happy, one day. Tomorrow go to Android 13, i go to service man told me that can be on first or stay on 13, but have orange triangle, but that must stay. I give up phone go to Android 14 but UI 6.0, and all model have update ( all Asia A52 not s, M53). It seems that Europe are not third World but forth World for Samsung, phone is good, but company politic is bad, no UI 6.1 for Europe thank you Samsung.

Mine after 2 years still going as good as new. The only bad thing about the phone is its plastic back panel and mine got scratched up all over the place despite used back cover all these period. None of my smartphones back panel that I used in the last 12 years ever got scratched like A52s. My 2016 ZenFone 3 back panel which is made of Gorilla glass is still with me with spotless like finish!
