Here it comes. The planned obsolescence update for the A52s. Android 11 4ever! I'll keep wearing my tin foil hat that Samsung will "accidentally" cause an issue with Android 14 on the A52s and they just won't fix it like the usually do until the next major release like Android 15. Not arriving on the A52s. LineageOS is what I would rather be using. If I wanted Android to look 10x worse and slower with anything newer than One UI 3, I might as well switch to a version of Android with more freedom.
The A52s is a relic to me. Last Samsung phone to include a headphone jack and expandable storage (excluding the x-cover which has Android 12 anyway) with a great soc to boot. Along with Android 11, which is the icing on the cake!
I saw an A54 in the store in person. MY OH MY is it thick and the bezels make it look like an iPhone. It makes my A52s look like a flagship in comparison! You know, when they actually tried to stand out from iPhones, now Samsung literally share the exact same design across their entire lineup.

I got a plan to buy this phone, is it still worth it?
I offered by 2nd hand becaue his gf want an iphone, and the phone was used 2 weeks from the day they buy it, since that nobody use the phone. I really need yall oppinions guyss!

Best Samsung phone ever A52s 5G,
For normal use or for gaming,
Especially this Snapdragon 778G 5G processor,
I still have Android 11 and the battery lasts a day and a half for normal use,
I am using Universal Android Debloater,
I recommend this phone if you have big hands

To avoid battery drain, try this, Play Store - click on your Google icon top right - Settings - Network Preferences - Auto update apps - Don't auto update apps. Wait for a few days and see if it is any better. If not, you can choose to revert the setting. I found this improved it. I manually update apps, once in a while when plugged in. I think, Samsung / Google should add a setting to Auto-update only when plugged in.

I have battery 2x replaced, so as screen and motherboard, but still 4-5 hours. So it doesn't seem to be a disaster to me:)

But now the weather is cool compared to may and yet it suffers.
Can not restricting charge to 85% be culprit since I use their 25W charger, but then it's not even been an year since I bought this phone.

somehow my phone which used to give 1-1.5days of battery life now barely lasts till evening. 4-5hr of sot and the usage pattern is same, owner is same. I haven't even updated software since april. what just happened?
are other people facing this too?
earlier i used to get 8-9hr of sot given my minimal usage
