    You could still be using it on year 5 but then you need repairs or battery and you can't buy them separately. Unless you buy another A52S.
    And newer $200 or cheaper and better phones will be out by that time and you will give in and update too.

        P.s. I might just buy a54(around 300 dollar in my place) or newer A 35/55 (alth both of them gonna be expensive on earlier launch) then wait for price of s24 price dropped..(which is promised to get 7 years software support, gonna take few years to drop the prices significantly tho)

        P.s. My A52s is still rocks after usage of +1year except battery, gonna replace battery and use as secondary phone too..

I checked ebay just now and the lowest bid price =190$. This model couldn't be sold officially in US, thus I bought mine here in PH for 22K Php for 8GB-RAM\256GB storage.Jun'2022.

            Current A54 prices in my place is double or nearly triple the used prices of A52s 5G. But hey, thanks for feeding the hamster wheel of this market so some of us have nice used phones to look into. xD

I&... moreI get 'VoNR (Voice over 5G) option when I go to settings - connections - mobile networks option. I get the 4G only mode. I can bring the 5G only mode via the 'phone info' option in the netmonster app. But jio has just enabled rhe VoNR option and the calls are going via the 4G VoLTE network (gets changed during a call). If you force it in the 5G only mode, the call will get connected but will stay silent.

                              Do you have option for 5G only or VoNR in OS? I'm familiar with how to run it process but wonder if you have also such options at your carrier if you say it's enabled (I don't have them)

                              Maybe someone in Samsung thinks S20FE is already too old to get it 🤔

It also reveals how useful such articles/sites are. Half of content pretends to be 'news' while it's either zero news at all or a mixture that may rather confuse reader than inform. Samsung promised 3 OS and 4 years of security and keeps the promise literally (see official site link below). There are no changes so in fact there's nothing to complain - count from phone release. Said changes or 'updated policy' (androidauthority) means update on NEWER devices that came later while it always brings better support not worse. If you read carefully you'll as well see A52s will get same support (under devices with 3 OS though not mentioned) but as I said this site mixed it all to have 'an important article' so it may confuse someone.

                                        Whichever the case, When you read the section for A-series, it states 3 years+2 yrs for patches, they threw in this caveat of for the more recent models will get additional OS upgrade.

                                        The thing is Samsung is not definitive, 'etch-in-stone' their OS policy updates., hence they keep all of us owners to keep on edge that we cling to thier brand. Which is safe for me to say that my A52s will be last A-series that I will own of Samsung.
