Literally buyers should avoid these mobile phone purchases, so that next time they will change their mind, when they put it. Oneplus had same issues with OP7 series later they changed and never consider to have virtual proximity sensor.

I have enabled the following gestures in my mobile
enable all options in Motions and gestures.
then you will face the following two problems
1) Ring will get muted on movement of your walking while someone is called.
2) If you keep the mobile in pocket and when you are in travelling in car or bike, you may put your hands on your thigh and remove.
It will detect some action and tries to unlock device and after unsuccessful attempts it will get locked. There are many videos for this problem.
Moderators are removed my message, but this is my experience wants to share with the other users.
To avoid this issue, I have done following changes
Disabled the following gestures
1) Double tap to turn on screen
2) Mute with gestures

Virtual proximity sensor is a pain in the ass. Device trying to unlock itself when in pocket, screen turned on during calls. I've never had this problem before so if anyone knows a fix please do tell!

My a53 is taking time when i am trying to make calls... When i press the name it takes time to start calling background... Overall the phone is not fast
Beside when i am speaking... I feel like there is no sound cancellation.. Others voices around me sound so loud during calls
Any solutions?

My a53 is taking time to do calls... When i press name it takes a while to start call background... Overall the phone is so slow
Beside i feel noise cancellation is not working.. My voice during calls is so loud and my breath air is showing while i am speaking
Any solutions?

Anonymous, 30 Mar 2023I never had this problems lolHave you enabled double tap to wake up, mute on swipe in settings.
With these two, you won't here the ringtone when call came. If you walking by keeping your device in pocket then that will try to unlock and do the stuff.
Is there any way to remove that device locking for more than 1/2/5/60 minutes.

Anonymous, 30 Mar 2023I never had this problems lol They have to know your phone number and they have to know you have an A53 and you have to have voice over lte and voice over wifi enabled on the phone

Unfortunately, the Samsung galaxy a53 is on the list of risky devices with an exynos chip according to published data from Google. I had to stop using that device because of the risk with business banking on the device.

Virtual proximity sensor is big concern in this phone. It keeps open try to unlock and locked for hours while in pocket. My earlier A50 has hardware sensor and never had this problem. We have to avoid devices with virtual sensor and most useless thing to have. Worst device.
Until you bought and use this phone you never know this problem

I have A33, This virtual proximity sensor is real big issue. If you kept your phone in pocket then it tries to unlock automatically and after certain attempts it will block you to use the phone for 1/10/60 minutes like this based on unsuccessful attempts.
If possible please stay away the devices which has virtual proximity sensor
