As a53 and a33 both have same chipset i compared a53 to my a33.

I have A33 and it's battery drains fast by no reason.

Omar, 05 May 2023What to pick this v redmi note 12 pro ?Redmi phones will get max 2 major Android updates in midrange and one major update in low end redmis but A53 and A33 get 4 till Android 16. This is a big reason to buy A53.

April security update dropped+ the usual device stability. No new features added. Touch seems a bit faster and smoother than before but that just might be in my head.

My A53 from Malaysia. When I plug in charger. Its touch cannot work properly. Even finger print cannot work properly. Is it a charger problem or SW issue. Please help me if you know. thanks in advance.

Two weeks with an A53, it fails to process most incoming calls on IMs (Signal, Telegram, Messenger), and people calling through regular network must wait for 3-4 rings before the phone actually starts ringing.
We returned them to get a replacement, second round of phones start doing the same thing after a few days. We looked in Samsung forums for support, multiple customers are complaining about the same issue, it has apparently been going for months.
We were on the verge of purchasing 150 of these as corporate phones based on my recommendation. Thank God my associate insisted that we test them within the team before going company-wide. Samsung is done for us and I strongly advise against this model especially anyone who has ever used an S model. The A53 lags ages behind the S21, I wouldn't even dream how it compares to S22 or S23.
