just a smile, 29 Apr 2023If you can't even handle 200gm your basically weak.
E... moreExynos is.more power efficient than the 1380 before- yes, but it is still nowhere close to 778G. Samsung's node + optimization just sucks. The 778G is 50% more efficient than 1380.
See the recent post made by @curunnil on twitter. The data shows that the Exynos guzzles power like a dinosaur, which is the reason for the overheating and throttling issue

AnonD-1090716, 29 Apr 2023"you are speaking out of ignorance. Several reviewers ... moreOk let's settle this. SD 7+ G2 is better than sd888, E2100, Tensor G2 in CPU, GPU, performance and efficiency. It doesn't just simply match them in those areas but is better than those chips.
Then the Exynos 2200. The 7+ G2 has a more powerful and efficient CPU than the 2200. The GPU on the other hand is pretty similar, though the Exynos is slightly better according to some tests.
And lastly the 8 Gen 1 (the full fledged version and not the nerfed one found in the S22 series). The 7+ G2 is weaker than this chip in both CPU and GPU performance. However, the CPU and GPU efficiency is better on the 7+ G2.

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2023It throttle in the gsmarena test but not in youtube test so... moreBro. Those youtube testers just run the test for 5 or 10 minutes and call it a day.
That's ridiculous. And of course you wouldn't see any throttling if you run the test for such a short time.
Meanwhile GSMarena ran the test for a full 1 hour, which is more appropriate. And the heavy throttling really begins after like 30 minutes into the test

Exynos 1380 isn't that bad anymore, it's more power efficient than before.
Also, 150gm is basically gone, the average of a phone's mass would basically be 180-195g, and 5.8" phones are gone

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2023It is too slow. Can return it?Then buy S series.
Too expensive?
Then buy from other brands.
Want Samsung AND performance?
Then buy old flagship or save some money for S series.
Or you can wait until it's cheaper.
But want this specific phone?
Then deal with it. It still pretty fast for everyday tasks.
You just want to complaint but never intended to buy?
Well, I can't comment much about it.

[deleted post]"Stop showing to everyone that you're the fan here, Exynos 2200 isn't same things, watch updated reviews and benchmarks, Exynos 2200 is in the premium mobile chip segment, and will stay in it for many years."
Yeah sure, it's me who defends chipset type for so long here lol. I've never even joined that debate & still don't mean to. If it's premium, why do I have to constantly see it here? Your never-ending referring to E2200 may be theoretically correct if it replies to negative GENERAL Exynos statements. In practice, it has nothing to do with this phone to be dealt with all the time here. RTX benchmark isn't important even for general high-end chips comparison, not to mention A54 or E1380. It's quite specific issue. Now who's over-enthusiastic here. Just rename this section to 'People versus Exynos' and I'm good, will check A54 section Instead. That's all I really care about. Peace
P.S. You see? Still no comment on your opposite-than-all-the-rest-here-generally-pro-exynos-opinion from me. Maybe someday... Long live Exynos.

TechGeek132, 28 Apr 2023you are speaking out of ignorance. Several reviewers alread... more"you are speaking out of ignorance. Several reviewers already tested the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 reference device, and the benchmark scores clearly indicate that the 7+ G2 is better than or equal to E2100, E2200, 8 G1, 888. Tensor G2, D8100, D8200 etc...
it's most powerful midrange chip on the planet. FACTS"
You're the only who's speaking ignorance, benchmarks can vary in real life, eve if comes at the same level if the Qualcomm 888 and the Exynos 2100 in CPU, the Exynos 2200 makes an edge over it, specially in GPU performance.

Ok... I got this phone a bit now.
I got it as an upgrade (previous phone is mi 11 lite ne) but I wouldn't buy it.
The screen is great, the phone does what it needs to do, I don't play games, only chess and it works ok. Video is fine. The speakers are ok.
There was very little bloatware on the phone and what I wanted to remove was all easily uninstallable.
Now to bad parts,
- camera, to make comparisons - before I had p30 pro new edition, mi 11 lite 5g ne, and camera is worse than both of them.
- no accessories, nothing except for usb c to usb c cable.
You will have to buy a case and a screen protector, and a charging block if you don't have one.
There is no audio DAC in the USB port, so if you want to use wired earphones you will be forced to buy an adapter (usb c to 3.5mm, usb c to usb c, or whatever your headphone wire is). Convenient Samsung sells this... You can look this up on Google "usb device is not supported Samsung phones" ...
It looks like they want you to buy/use their wireless earphones which is another story about how good the sound of them are...
It is heavy, I think I will have arms like Arnold Schwarzenegger after keeping this phone for two years... The Mi 11 is so much lighter to hold ...
It's not a bad phone but little annoying, snakey, things that Samsung do like not having some DAC in the usb-c port so you might buy their adapter are just the kind of things that will piss some people off and make them buy a different phone.
I definitely wouldn't buy it at full price.

Why the 10x zoom of a54 is not as good as 10x zoom of note 10 lite?
I took photos of the moon during the day with 10x zoom of the camera of Samsung Galaxy A54.
I was disappointed to see that these photos are not as good as the photos I took of the moon during the day with the 10x zoom of the camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite.
I know that Note 10 lite has telephoto lens and A54 doesn’t have telephoto lens- but the telephoto lens of Note 10 lite is only 2x.
Because the telephoto lens of Note 10 lite is only 2x- I did not think that the 10x zoom of Note 10 lite would be better than the 10x zoom of A54.
Why is the 10x zoom of Note 10 lite better than the 10x zoom of A54??? What is the reason for this?

Truely Samsung user, 28 Apr 2023Nobody cares it 😄Hats off 👏 for your patience with this fan person. It's barely worth read it here since Exynos200's same thing all the time. RTX on E2200 SMH. Who the hell wants to read it again 😒 2200 not even this phone's chip nor segment.

Truely Samsung user, 28 Apr 2023Every review points to Exynos as a dud and "could have... moreThere is some important info i have to say, taken from leaker @techreve from twiter. He shared the efficiency data of the Exynos 1380 and comparing it to 778G.
Benchmark: SPEC
**Snapdragon 778G; Cortex A78 @2.4 GHz**
Score: 28.9 points
Power consumed: 1.6W
Efficiency: 18.06
**Exynos 1380: Cortex A78 @2.4 GHz**
Score: 27.1 points
Power consumed: 2.34W
Efficiency: 11.58
As you can clearly see, the Exynos consumes much more power for around the same performance. Therefore it is much less efficienct. This is the reason for the heating issues.
