s35ym, 02 Feb 2025IR transmitter is useful.For what reason? To control TV or others devices you can easily via smartthings app and without wifi, if need wifi it turning on/off automatic. Tested. I don't see any more reason to add IR sensors into mobile phone.

I use it many time without wifi and everything working fine. If someday is need wifi is turning on automatic and turning off automatic too. I do not have any trouble with that, for me everything is very good. Much more better as IR.
