The best way to safe your battery is to charge it between 40% and 80%. It's up to you how you want to charge your phone, i just shared experts's and Samsung's comments about that.

I have decided that rule on my own and following that. You follow your own method. I am following mine.

Some senseless beings are still supporting fast charging. Thats why I said so.

Anonymous, 09 Jan 2025Fast charging can can degrade battery but so is regular cha... moreThis is everything not true. First at al usually battery lasting about 2 - 3 years for many manufactures. Of course depends how often and how at all charging user device. Second, you are right about charging, at all charging doing damage for battery, but fast charging doing it more and faster. As i understand battery charging doing stress for it, so faster process doing faster and bigger stress. I'm not scientist and maybe their will explain better, but was did test and about it was wrote many years ago. You are right again, different between battery which was charged fast and not fast was not very big, but enough to faster lose battery durability. So if battery's usually durability is by many manufacturers about 2 - 3 years, with fast charging, how i understand, can be shorten. Maybe not year, but maybe some months and etc. But doing damage. Third, you can't easily change battery, because without authorized service every can't do that, after warranty it's paid service. And to change battery after 2-3 years or maybe longer is not, my opinion, so good idea, because to buy newer model with again 4 or 7 major updates, updated camera, processor and etc. it's much more better idea i think.

That's why in Samsung A55 battery protection one of mode is charging to 80% only, check it. https://www.vatrerpower.com/blogs/news/understanding-the-40-80-rule-for-lithium-ion-batteries it's just one of article.

If you're really paranoid. You can just use routine to turn off fast charging at night and turn on fast charging during the day.
