Why should I waste that much money buying a boxed midrange while I can get a used or refurbished flagship like the s20 u5g or note 20 with a stylus at even lower price

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2024Samsung is certainly better than they were several years ag... moreIt just shows how important competition is. If it weren't for the competition, Samsung would continue to sell "mid-range" phones with the minimum specs that can run that year's version of Android, every year and their flagship phones would still only receive two OS updates as it was until 2018.
Remember the Note 9? That thing cost around a thousand dollars, came out around September 2018 with Android 8 and at the end of 2019 it received its latest OS update from Samsung.

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2024How is the gaming experience on this phoneDemanding games like Genshin, Honkai Star Rail, Wuthereing Waves, and CarX Street should run at 30-40fps on medium graphics settings, or 40-60fps on low settings.
For competitive games, Mobile Legends should be able to run at 120fps with the latest update. PUBG tops out at Smooth + Extreme (60fps) or HDR + Ultra (40fps). COD Mobile should be able to run at Low graphics + Max framerate (60fps) or High graphics + Very High framerate (40fps).

Try to take it to an authorized service center, because have not to be any heatings or others problems. I just like this phone, that there is nothing to cling to, at least for now. I have almost 3 months.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2024Personally, Samsung makes excellent flagships, but their bu... moreSamsung is certainly better than they were several years ago, especially compared to 2018.
I still remember the joke that was the Galaxy J6+. It came out around a time when most phone companies had began using octa-core processors, 1080p displays, and 18W fast charging for phones costing $150 and up. Meanwhile the J6+, which costed $220 still used an awfully weak quad-core processor, only had a 720p display, and charged ridiculously slow at 5W.
It's pathetic how our fellow spammer tried so hard to defend the J6+ by saying it was a decent phone for its time, when it was hardly even close to being decent, even for a Samsung phone. My guy was so deep in denial he couldn't even accept the fact that it was practically junk.

I bought a55 two months ago. The phone is fine so far overall. Camera 📸 is quite good 👍🏼 although at night is somehow a little blurry.
You can customize the phone 📱 the way you want...more than xiaomis phones (previous phone)
Battery lasts a day and without using it all the time it can last a day and a half.
➖ However a huge minus is that if you use the phone 🤳🏼 for an hour let's say surfing or at social media the phone is really hot....and it is like new yet....

xg, 08 Aug 2024whats pwm?
PWM is when the screen "blinks" to lower the brightness, A55's PWM is only 120hz which is abysmally low when other phone mainly Chinese scores in the thousands, for reference Vivo V40 SE is 476hz and that's a pretty cheap phone.
As for why it matters if the PWM is too low you can get headache if you use the phone at low brightness, like 50% or so.
