Cracked screen , 08 Jul 2024This is to register my dissatisfied with the phone after I ... moreNo known manufacturer will ever honor the warranty due to negligence regardless of reason unless covered by Samsung Care+ or Apple Care or some 3rd party insurer. You cannot use the reasoning that its not the case with your previous phones. It is a phone with glass screen and any misuse or abuse will not be covered by the manufacture's limited warranty. Don't blame Samsung for your carelessness and by allowing a toddler to throw your phone away because that is the most ridiculous reasoning I have ever heard from a user trying to claim a warranty.

    This is to register my dissatisfied with the phone after I realised a crack in the middle of the phone, something I last saw on a phone in 2014 when I bought Nokia Lumia. I've had an Xperia, Mi5, LG G5, Cubot, Ulefone 7, Poco NFC X3, A52, Oppo 8T 5G and none ever picked a crack despite being left with a toddler. This one my toddler hardly touched it and yet yesterday I noticed a crack. I called service center and was told that I have to pay for the replacement and wait for 14 days or more. I thought I have even filled a warranty form on-line. It's been only 2 months and amm wondering if this victus is weaker than gorilla 5 and 4 that I had in the other phones. I have been looking for drop and scratch tests in vain to compare...

    I think there is a major compromise in A55 that we're not being told , one of them being the unstable finger print sensor now the glass lol

You keep on referring to the Exynos 1480 as an entry level chip because? Does it perform like the Helio G99, SD 685, Dimensity 6080, or T618-UNISOC? Please, stop insulting the intelligence of people around here. You hate Samsung so much that you even cannot distinguish a midrange chip from a an entry level chip. Hater distorting the facts is only done by low lifes.

Second, Samsung A55 in most world places do not cost the same price as house, unless your house have very little price and you living in jungle. Third, it's Samsung A55 deserved any euros which it cost, because giving some premium features for not big price. I don't know where you are from, how much cost your house, how many money you have and many others things, but to write these nonsense what you wrote i advice you to find another place, because some people can think that something wrong with your brain.

                  Bad. For this absolutely outrageous price, it should have at least 32 GB ram, at least 8 years of updates, and at least 4000 nit brightness. It's better off to get the flagship Galaxy A03s than this poor excuse of a phone. I'm not going to sell my house to buy a phone.

                    Anonymous, 06 Jul 2024Which problem you have with xiaomi software ?Xiaomi how i know at all do not admit theirs mistake and long time running away from any fixing of OS. That's saying most people which have or had Xiaomi phones. I had Amazfit watch which is Xiaomi subsidiary company or something like that, so i know how hard they fixed OS problems: Chinese text in City name of weather, various bugs, issues was fixing at all like disaster. Finally i broke charger and till i had warranty bring back to seller, got money and i bought Samsung. From that moment i have only Samsung devices: TV, smartwatches, buds, phones (most A series - enough for me for daily usage), refrigerator, clothes wach machine and etc. I don't consider myself fan of Samsung, but right now i think is the best company for electronic devices. Chinese companies my opinion still is sh and unworthy of attention, but every people have own requirement so i respect that and do not trying to change their minds. I sharing my opinion about bad experience with Chinese products, but if anyway human want to buy it it's ok. Maybe for him/her Chinese products is the best what he/her had or have.

The only thing keeping me away from Chinese ones... moreI read a lot of negative opinions about Exynos, so all time i tried to avoid it, but this time i haven't any others choice so bought Samsung with Exynos and i don't see any problems with that. There is no any heat, there is no any battery draining fast, there is no any problems with sound or video, display. I think every have own viewing angle, but then ask yourself if A class, if S class with Exynos so terrible, why in WORLD SAMSUNG IS ONE OF MOST SELLING PHONES SEVERAL YEARS IN A ROW? Why Chinese phones is not? Myabe this problem is just for some people? It's one A55H0LE decided that Samsung is EVIL and writing here nonsense. When reality is not so bad. Keep in mind what you doing with phone, i had many phones where was writing that there is big heat, but i don't have never problems with heat. Maybe one time with Sony C5 Ultra, if i remember right. All Samsung devices for me worked perfect, without any heat or problems with sound, video, display. I don't understand if you so much love Chinese phones, why you are in Samsung forum? One A55H0LE in Ruzzia already trying to do own world's order. He also very much like Chinese. I don't understand people which trying to convince all to do like he want. This is for Chinese phone fans. You like Chinese phone? Wonderful, then go to Chinese forum and write here how cool they are. In this A55 forum Samsung fans don't care your creepy minds.

I hear the Google chip also tends to get hot, but it may depend on what you do with the phone. When it comes to the Chinese, they also sell certain series that're entry level phones as mid-range, Xiaomi does it with the Redmi note pro series, pay attention to that.
                            In general, if you want a phone with a mid-range chip from this year or last year, buy a phone with a Cortex-X core. Any chip from the current year and maybe from last year that doesn't include one such core is an entry-level chip, no matter if it is marketed otherwise. The Snapdragon 7 plus gen 2 or 3 are examples of real mid-range chips.

I charging it everyday, because do not discharging less then 40%, i playing call of duty mobile some hours almost everyday, browsing and etc. Battery is amazing, overheat i did not met yet. I like you afraid Samsung's processor. But somewhere i read that this one is suprisly good. So that's why i bought A55 and after almost month i'm happy that i bought it. Do not trust Chinese's lover

                                      I need a new phone soon, since my old phone is almost 7 years old and has a few issues. So, I was interested in getting the A55. Would you recommend it? I'm just worried about the people here commenting that it heats up and fails to unlock with the fingerprint. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I bought the A54 after A52s ... moreThe reason the A52s didn't have the same problems as the A54 is because the A52s' chip is a true mid-range chip, while every one of the Exynos chips in the A series are entry-level chips, including the A55's chip. Samsung doesn't develop mid-range chips, only entry-level chips, entry-level chips that they market as mid-range and flagship chips.
                                        TLDR - Want a phone with a mid-range chip? Buy a Pixel phone or a Chinese phone.
