In Acessibility settings (or in developer mode), i always disable the animations. It makes the phone faster and less disturbing.

Best midrange phone.
Only USB 2.0 but super fast UFS 3.1 memory. Cameras really good and screen very bright. 8/256 is a must for best performance. One UI 7 is very nice too...
If you can spend more get S24FE, or spend even more then S25+

I feel old, I remember the A51 that I had, now we're at the A56!
Also, notice how they stopped making the A4X and the A7X series. I'm glad they did this, the differences between the phones. Who else thinks they will run out of names for the A series phones soon?

Banitasu, 17 Mar 2025I have A52 and never encountered such SD card slowing my ph... moreSD card no longer slowing down Android, at least since few years. The speed of SD Card itself that is limited (or too expensive if wants get the faster and more durable one).
What I usually do is plug my external SSD to a router and occasinally backup my phone data. In that way I can backup my other phones on one SSD without hassles.

bette... moreLived using numerous phones with no 3.5mm jack nor SD Card with no issue. There is always workaround to make us more comfortable since human designed to adapt with changes (or left behind).
To be honest, proper internal DAC rarely found in recent phones, so 3.5mm jack felt awful. Furthermore, SD card are slow and prone to broken without a reason or warning.

Is it worth to move from Galaxy S20+ to A56? S20 just reached EOL and in mine battery is a problem and also camera lost focus from time to time. The only disadvantage I see is 4K movies in 30fps comparing to 60fps in S20. No gaming.
