So I've seen reviews and gaming test about this phone. Somehow PUBG only run on HD/ high settings (30 fps) despite the a55 could run it at 60 fps no problem????? Is this some kind of a optimisation thing or wut?

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2025Samsung Galaxy A56: Bad news for anyone who wants to buy th... moreoh definitely. i'm a samsung A52 user and was looking forward to A56 release because i think it's time to move to a new phone. but S24FE is the better option at this price point. not to mention, it's gotten cheaper and closer to A56's price when it was just released a few months ago

but if anyone who wants to upgrade their phone, i would suggest to wait until samsung releases S25FE, maybe around september 2025. hopefully we'll also get qualcomm snapdragon chipset on it. if not, can consider getting the S24FE as its price will be much cheaper than now

Admet, 16 Mar 2025Guys i don't really know much about this phone but i w... moreit will definitely be an upgrade. if you have the budget for it, go for it. if not, you can consider samsung A36 as well

samsung A14 is an entry level phone while A36 and A56 are midrange phones. they have better performance, build quality and longer software and security support. the camera is also so much better

i doubt they'd lag easily unless you do heavy gaming (e.g: genshin impact) or video editing, which are not what samsung A series are meant for. you can still do heavy tasks on the phone, just don't expect it'd have fast processing

IWantSunshine, 16 Mar 2025I'm getting curious now. So many posts here are about ... moreThe problem with A56 is there are no 512GB variant while other brands already offered 512 GB even 1 TB to compensate lacks of SD card slot. You mentioned it by yourself that music alone takes up to 50GB, not including apps, photos, videos, and games. 256 GB will not last that long.

sorry samsung, your phones didn't support sd cards
                          i will get another company!!

I'm getting curious now. So many posts here are about the missing microSD card slot. But... If you used it in the past, didn't it slow down your phone tremendously? So I have a Samsung 55 phone and Samsung Tab S9 FE tablet, both of them have microSD card slot. I have two VERY fast microSD cards, a 256GB Samsung PRO Plus and a 256GB Sandisk Extreme Pro. I tried both in both device, same results. Putting them into the phone/tablet caused a little bit of slowing down. Then I downloaded about 50GB of Spotify music on them. Wow... Both the phone and the tablet became a snail. They slowed down a LOT. I mean really, really badly slow. Examples: Spotify started up in 1 sec without the card (music saved on internal storage), and in about 12 sec with the card (music saved on the card). Going into Device Care in Settings and tap the storage, without card it took about 1 sec to calculate the usage, with the card with the music on it this changed to well over 30 seconds!! Or, going into Google Play Store and search for app updates - without the card it took 1 to 2 seconds, with the card with the music on it it took well over 30 seconds too! I tried quarter filling up the cards with photos and videos instead music, the same. So after a few days of struggling and being VERY unhappy about my phone/tablet turning from a snappy device into a snail slow device that felt like time-travelled here from 2010, I removed the cards, and never used them again. Is it just my experience? Nobody else experinced this REALLY bad slow down with a big memory card with actual 50-100 or more GB data on it? It rendered my devices so slow that I don't really see a point in the memory card slot. If I need more storage, I will just buy a phone/tablet with more in-built storage...

Wanted to buy the A36 6/128, but for the launch the A56 8/256 was only 50 euros more. It looks and feels premium unlike the A55. Good phone, no complaint : typical Samsung quality. No memory card but ok with 256 GB with fast UFS 3.1. The 45W charger is not included and too expensive.
