Great expectation on replacing A51 with this A56, until they announced SD support droppage, this went down the drain real quick.
Thought to get A26, but that design is hard to agree upon; thought to get A55, but none of the domestic carriers gives that phone service access; ended up with A35, barely an upgrade to A51 (RAM went up by 2 GB; SD support went from 512 GB to 1 TB; One UI 6 + 3 year support as of 2025; USB 2.0 remains a problem driving external SSD).
Samsung dropped one of the biggest edge android phone has over Apple iOS - SD card support in their upper mid-rangers at 6th generation (yet they sell SD cards)...
Will held back from future upgrades until they decideds to make something more capable after this A35.

Dan, 13 Mar 2025S24 FE does not have 45w chargingNah 45W without charger is just the same. A56 doesn't have 512GB storage, 4K@60 FPS, telephoto lens, Galaxy AI features exclusive to S-series, and performance is much better on S24 FE

Since there is no micro sd option in a56 and a36., i'll keep my a73 for long. No upgrade soon. Lack of headphone jack is ok, but micro sd is ESSENTIAL

Has Samsung really removed the option for the SD card on the A56?
Where do I put my micro SD card 512GB for my offline music? The internal memory is not enough for this and online music is not an alternative for me.
I'm very sad, I thought this would be my next device after the good A54.
