Regarding your problem, have you install any screen protector on your A5. If you have this can cause the problem you have because the protevlctor can block the screen sensor in the front.

Hi everyone, I have two problems with my A5 2016.
1-when I am making a phone/messenger/skype/call, the screen goes black and I have to press power button to make the screen on....any suggestions would be appreciatedifficult.
2-can anyone help me how to activate the light of soft keys (back key and the key on the left side)....many thanks in advance for any help.

Friends.if you have problem with your phone and you need to flash new rom.you must try flash new rom from "other country" by odin.

I have recently bought A5 and i was really sati... moreMy phone's battery is very good...go to the recovery (power off> press and hold power+valumeup+home buttons for 5 second)and perform wipe factory data and wipe cache partition.if not fix> download a new rom from sammobile and flash by odin...(some apps are harmful for your phone and battery.it is better that install apps from google play)

I'm not sure if you really faced these problems (if so then I'm sorry) or that you're Apple/LG/HTC troll.

If you still want go for Galaxy A9 at least, the specs are better. Choosing b/t A5 (16) and A8 is a very tough choice. BAse yourself on screen size mainly I will suggest... but A5 (16) has NFC and samsung pay

a5 2016 is a very bad set i have ever used.the wifi and battery problem is so acute and it always frastrate you by its running.if you want to use android,avoid the samsung galaxy a5 2016

Hi guys !!! I have recently bought A5 and i was really satisfied with battery. Then happened two things. First i was trying to install some apk file and after that phone went crazy. Thousands pop up commercials, warnings that my phone was affected with virus and similar stuff. Then i did factory reset and now is everything normal but the battery life is much worse then before that. For example, i used to go to bed with 100% of battery and next morning was 98-99 % !!! The same situation now but battery drops at 90 % !!! In every day usage is the battery life also noticeably shorter. What can that be??? I have the same apps as before, nothing has changed. Another thing is that i have to use some other charger yet because i left the original one (fast charger) at home. Is it possible that a non-original charger affects the battery life in that way. Did anyone from you have such experiences with this phone????

According to its price it's amazing and i see it don't differ from S6 unless you are a gamer .
It's fingerprint sensor is amazing and fast. The desine is very good and screen and back are covered with glass that you can experience that the movile is always new.
The battery and the fast charger are very very good .. amazing..
The temp of it is not felt any more even when playing games.
The process is very good.
I do not see any disadvantages of it exept that the speakers are put in not appropriate position that when you put it in your right hand the speakers are closed.

This phone is amazing. I have it a week now. First of all am seeing people saying that the fingerprint and I don't understand it as to me it couldn't have been faster. The design is beautiful. But I have an objection. The companies should stop loading the phones with pre installed apps. The ram could have been better but I haven't encountered any lags yet ( I'm not a gamer btw ). The camera is beautiful and I am very picky when it comes to this. For its price it's a very very good mobile.
