In favor: Possibility of rooting, screen, very fast response (rooted and without bloatware), 2GB RAM, FM Radio, LTE, fast charging, 1 and 1/2 day of normal use without recharge, very good price/specs relationship, flat design.
Cons: Difficult to extract (and change) battery, low 3D rendering performance, some heating, low volume of sound (if you don't tweak it), SIM and microSD introduction system.
Conclusion: AWESOME cellphone IF you know what you're buying and you take control of the system by rooting it and stopping the bloatware.

Anonymous, 03 May 2016You should probably go for the A5The both cost 400€ in my country and the a5 comes with the exynos chipset. I think that alpha is all in all a better phone, it has better chipset, better camera, heart rate sensor(even thought i don't really need one) and you could see that in the review, it says that a5 a lower segment than alpha so i don't really know

I want to buy a phone. A5 2016 & S6 edge are my options.I know budgets are not the same. but i need the better one from these two. I would be very thankful if anyone can help.
(i heard that S6 edges battery life is poor. is that true? )

Nice design, very comfortable to hold

This is no doubt one of the best mid ranger with good build quality,stunning full hd oled display etc.But the chipset could have been better like snapdragon 650/652

But if you can afford the a5, i suggest you to buy it. I've been using m4 aqua for about 4 months and it heats up a lot, camera is not so good even tho it is 13mp and my usb port is broken. I don't think that this about a usb port is some kind of a disadvantage, but every phone that i used that had an usb port on the side got broken. So i don't even want to repair it and i want to buy a new one. I just don't know should i buy a5 2016 or alpha?

He obviously want to save money and M4(250 euros) compared A5(400 euros) is almost the same phone(same resolution for camera and same chipset SD615) for a lot less money. but you are obviously a Samsung fanboy when you suggested the other guy to get A5 over Z3+ ... your opinion on this mater is subjective !
