Hey guys I have a question regarding the nougat update. Is there any problem at all after updating to nougat, like battery drain or lagging ? Is it overall a good phone, im considering buying this phone.

Regarding the A5 2017 battery charging issue (battery charging stuck 85 - 92%) just switch the phone from fast charging to standard charging and the problem is gone. The option is available in settings - device maintenance - battery - advanced mode.

I am mourning the loss of my G4 to the dreaded bootloop and wondering what I can possible get to replace it...as well as wondering just how idiotic it would be to get another G4.

BEWARE,this phone does not have Haptic feedback!!I have never come across ANY smartphone that has omitted this feature.I have watched a hundred videos and read many reviews on this phone before buying-NOT ONE has stated this fact.It does vibrate with notifications but does not have the Haptic.Very weird.It is my wife's phone and she does not mind at all.I would have returned the same day if this was my phone.

Hi, does anyone know if the 3 GB of RAM are in dual channel mode or just single channel? I read that the chipset supports LPDDR4 in dual channel mode, but I don't know if the terminal is using it. How can I know this?

But is a security not a problem cuz when port is with humidity phone automatically doesnt charge until the phone will dry completely.

So, i bought my phone, this phone at march 2017, i was looking for a good phone comparing many types of phones, and my eyes catched this fresh new phone at that time with pretty nice size of inches, same camera's front and back in a really good quality, waterproof, Samsung.. so what could i ask more with a price of nearly 600 dollar price (in the contry i live)! till now it works well. i have had problems with humidity, i went to the service of the store where i bought it, they checked and ''risolved'' the problem. then the problem was still appearing (who knows if they really worked with my phone but anyways), but now its good

Is it a better ... moreBoth are good but galaxy A5 has a edge, Ip68 certification, amoled display, better CPU and GPU and the most important thing Samsung experience 8.1, if you like near stock android and faster software updates then Mi A1 is a good option but if you asking me Samsung Experience 8.1 is a totally different thing

Better choice... Mi A1 or Galaxy A5 2017 ?
Is it a better decision to put in the extra 3000 rs for the A5 2017 ? (Right now in India A5 is selling at 18000 only. and Mi A1 is 15000)

Don't expose the phone to sea water for so long and wash it with fresh water right after been exposed to it. After that, the fingerprint scanner won't work properly until you dry well the area. and the touch sensitivity of the screen will be affected too until it dries. Don't connect the phone to a charger right after been submerged.
