Emilian, 28 May 2018Same.Your A5 2017 heats fast?Mine quite fast.I never download patch first. I always wait few weeks for opinions of other usets. My phone never heat up. My previous phone dont have this problem too. Make factory reset a send it to samsung service guyz. Until you have a warranty. This new patch is 23MB so I dont think it have some important things. Maybe just security patch. But I will wait :D

Some animations (swiping recent apps, closing story on instagram, swiping tabs on twitrer) became laggy on Oreo (I tried reflashing and didnt help).
I hope they will increase the smoothness of animations since they've already increased performance.

Just updated mine to oreo in indonesia region performance and ram management is better than nougat but battery is the same as nougat
Hopefully they would fix the battery life in the next update
