A1: Dual camera is a dud, similar SoC, not waterproof, no AMOLED display, no AOD, no fast charging, worse battery life. Only pros the A1 has is the software and the extra gig of RAM.

Unfortunately I use my smartphone as a smartphone, and the A5 just doesn't deliver its value for the money. If other companies made their mid-rangers IP68, I wouldn't have bought this POS.

If waterproof is not important, then many phones give you more for the money. My favorite is The Xiaomi Mi A1. Not only it's cheaper, it has better hardware, more storage, and runs Android one (already on Oreo).

This thing cannot do 4K, slow, and Samsung was lying about the monthly security patches.
I bought this only because it's waterproof. Other than that, it's not a good phone. It's so slow, it lags everywhere. Even going to the app drawer lags, which is stupid for a phone at this price.

Rikkon, 06 Mar 2018For me, is better. They corrected the battery drain while idle. I hope you have right. Battery is ok when is in using , but in idle is not what im excpecting from this phone. I hope update will improve this. Thx bro!

Just do it with the battery fully charged and plugged to the charger. You'll win performance and functionality improvements plus monthly updates with security patches

At Amazon in the US you can find the unlocked, dual Sim version, for 300 - 320 dollars. And if you want monthly updates that include the security patches then is a must to upgrade to nougat. And these updates are more than just security patches, they include new features and improvements.
