Sad, 18 Jul 2020Please why does the A71 battery drop so rapidly, almost eve... moreHaving the exact same issue with my phone as well. Guys don't put it as calibration issue. New devices never have calibration issues specially when they have been charged few times.
Somebody please explain why is this happening? Is this software issue or the hardware?

You can't ignore the fact that it is just 1080p display and packs 4500 mah battery. With advanced power saving snapdragon processor and very highly optimized Android 10.
I understand it depends on the usage but still the battery is not performing well, at least in my case. I'm very disappointed.

Hi. I'm seeing too much battery drain time by time. Tried everything but still the battery drain issue on standby and during use doesn't stop.
About standby, the phone dropped 10% in 24 hour standby. Phone was in deep sleep, brightness to 0%, power saving mode on, flight mode on, wifi off, all the apps of phone are already put in deep sleep. Still 10% drop? I don't understand.
During use it drops 1% every 8-10 mins for just using Twitter app to read tweets. Brightness 5%, power saving mode on, flight mode but wifi on, dark mode on always, disabled all the bloatware apps, always on display disabled. What should I do? It looks like I made a mistake buying this phone.
Are you guys having the same issue with battery life or is it just me?

I had 10% drop when I kept the phone on standby for 24 hours. No wifi, flight mode on, all apps put to deep sleep, no always on display. Practically the phone was turn into basic. Browsed the battery settings and the stupid statistics page shows no cause for the battery drain.

If you can afford a BMW you won't even take a look at Corolla what more a pathetic Maruti 800.

I even test it by running 1 hour Google Map Navigation & mounted behind my windscreen under 38°C hot sunny day, A71 still never heat up.

S8+ user here, unfortunately I damaged the screen and it would cost more to repair than buy a new phone. Been looking at this A71, I see that the screen has less ppi but would I really observe the difference? And according to the Geekbench numbers it should be a tad bit faster even than S8+. Is it really so?

terrible phone, 1st one got real hot and went into safe mode then crashed. Second one went into safe mode again, same day I got it. Wouldn't recommend this phone. Has several issues reported by other people
