If you're not satisfied and can't live with it, and the phone is within warranty period, you have every right to have it replaced. Otherwise, you can just live with its imperfection.

That's why I'm not loyal to any brand. In terms of durability, I think Huawei is the best. I've had Lenovo, Asus, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei and LG android devices in the past. The longest lasting of the them is the 2014 Huawei Ascend Mate 7. Still as good as the day I bought it. No software, display, or battery problems or battery swelling even up to this day. There's a decrease in battery back up but still it can last a full day with its massive 4100mAh battery (by 2014 standards).

The uniformity occurred only when in low 0 - 5% brightness and it disappeared when I increase my brightness to something like 10% - 15%. Another question is, will the uniformity gets worse (i mean will it spread wider) if I just leave it like that and not asking for a replacement? thank you again for whoever you are who answered my first question.

If I restart it, it works sometimes for one or two cycles. I will be out of Samsung for my next phone after having used 4 models of Samsung. Only my first Galaxy S that had no issue, while all others had serious problems to force me to replace them.

The most likely ones are due to faulty or defective or low quality charger and charging cable. Another cause is your A71 USB C charging port may be loose (factory defect) or it experienced trauma (phone accidentally dropped bottom first while charging cable is connected).
Ruling out either of those causes requires trial and error and careful observation. First, try it out with third party BaseUS 30watts superfast charger and third party 60watts type C to type C cable (Ugreen). If it's the same, your phone may have loose USB C port or possibly the port experienced damage or trauma (phone dropped bottom first with charging cable attached).
Cable should fit snugly whether you use the charger provided or you use third-party charger. If not, then you likely have a defective charging port. Just have phone replaced if it's under warranty. Otherwise, have it repaired. I'm on February 2020 security patch and don't have the problem with the third-party BaseUS 30watts superfast charger and 60watts Ugreen cable.

It's harmless and won't result to shorter amoled display life. It's a common issue in amoled screens. Very few units have perfect uniformity. Majority have some slight non-uniformity and a few have really noticeable bad uniformity. If yours is of this kind (very noticeable, bad uniformity), have it replaced if it's under warranty. Otherwise, you'll just have to ignore it or tweak color settings to make it less visible.

They can't be solved with software updates.

Does anyone else have the charging issue with A71? My phone has very slow battery charging. Super fast charging switches to fast charging and vice versa. I happens with any chargers. The first month that purchased it charged very quickly.

guys, so my samsung a71 screen has this yellow-ish color on the corner of the screen. it doesn't much but it still bugs me because the color is not match with the rest of the screen color. is this oled burn in screen? and is there a way to fix the problem?

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2020What is the display refresh rate of Samsung galaxy A71?It's standard refresh rate: 60Hz. It's the same frequency as your 60Hz AC power supply. People can't see flicker in a light bulb powered by 60Hz AC supply because human visual acuity is actually less than that. Frame rate is entirely different thing from screen refresh rate.

If you haven't received it, connect your A71 to the internet and go to settings - software update. Tap 'download and install'.

I was suggesting you get the BaseUS superfast charger I mentioned earlier. If the same problem, maybe it's the phone/software. Otherwise, there's factory defect in the way those Samsung superfast chargers behave with the A71.
