The new charger worked fine for a few days, then the same problem happens. When I wipe cache partition, it worked foe one cycle. Then, now the problem comes back. I think it might be firmware.

Which is better samsung a71 or huawei novo 5t
Because I cannot decide
Some saying that wifi in novo and screen maintenace is better than a71
And battary in a71 is drained fast because of the screen even in sleeping mode

Check permissions and disable unnecessary ones. Auto rotate is just a tap away on the pull down quick settings. If orientation is locked, it appears de-highlighted "portrait" or "landscape".

after near 2mth .
my fon have malware.
when in game or in whatsapp or in fb.
got pop up of adds. food panda/ gambling. Fuxx it. annoy me
.
secondly how to make fon to auto rotate? I need to install 3rd party apps. I already remove the apps. suspect the apps have virus. but it's to late for me. my phone got infected.

joelo, 29 Mar 2020i have the same problem , for me is not a good phone , the ... moreIt's probably amoled screen burn in of the battery icon which is located at the upper rightmost corner of the screen. You may need to limit the brightness setting to avoid burn ins since amoled is not very good for static displays. You may also hide the status bar with ADB commands so it doesn't get displayed all the time. Other than that, dead pixel comes to mind in which case you need to monitor if it's growing or not. If your phone is under warranty, have it replaced with a new unit.

I did Google search on this issue an... moreI recently tested the Samsung type C to type C cable provided in the box combined with the BaseUS 30watts third party AC adapter and it seems to work without problems. The problem is likely the provided Samsung wall charger and not the cable. Though I suppose it would be best to replace both as they really seem light and flimsy (low quality).

I see it only on the lowest brightnes on the grey background like you. Maybe this is after to much pressure on the screen? It dont go bigger or something. Its just sit there.

I did Google search on this issue and found a lot of threats posting the same issue on Samsung community. The problem seems only happen with A71. Most of them have their phones replaced at Samsung Service Center, but it is impossible in Cambodia where I live. The issue still exists. I just ordered new cable (Ugreen) to test it. I also think about charger because I didn't have issue in the first 2 weeks, and after I replaced new charger, it worked just fine for a few days. I have no issue at all when using my old charger left from my Note 8 purchase.

Let me know if you still have this issue even with this third party charger (BaseUS) + third party cable (Ugreen) combination. At least, it would help confirm if it's really phone or software related or Samsung charger/Samsung cable related because when I first received my A71, I thought the Samsung charger provided in the box was a bit too light for a 25 watts superfast charger (reminiscent of low quality chargers) and the free cable, too thin and flimsy compared to high quality cables.

Never had the charging issue at my workplace where I use third party BaseUS 30watts (PPS model with one type C + one USB A slot) superfast wall charger, paired with a 60watts type C to type C Ugreen cable. (The original Samsung super fast wall charger and cable I use only at home). The provided Samsung superfast charger and cable must be poor quality. Here's my charger:

The issue is solved after restart, but only work one or two days, the same problem comes back. I already replaced cable and charger with Samsung service. I think it is software. When charging stops, the phone is cold and charger also turns cold.

Protection circuitry sets in when the battery overheats, when there is overvoltage, overcurrent or some short circuit. Just reboot your A71 if it happens. If it happens frequently, as in every charging, you may need to check the cable or the AC adapter for some electrical fault. Otherwise, if it does the same even with a new set of charger and cables, you may need to have the phone checked.
