Anonymous, 03 Jun 2021Absolutely no charging issue at all, i use 4 charging metho... moreI can confirm it has charging issues when you keep on changing chargers from superfast charging (25W) with the provided Samsung charger, to regular fast charging (18W) and vice versa. Charging can (1) stop sporadically in that case, or (2) continue to go on but the indicated battery percentage goes down even while charging. Only a reboot/restart will get it to charge again.
As a rule of thumb, to avoid the problem, you should just stick to regular fast charging (18W) all throughout using third party chargers and never use the provided superfast charger (25W) or other higher capacity chargers. And if you can't avoid mix and match charging (25W to 18W and vice versa), be prepared to reboot your phone EVERY charger change/charger switching.

Absolutely no charging issue at all, i use 4 charging method, office charging using 3rd party charger, car charging with 12V cigarette lighter plug, home charging using an old Samsung charger, using powerbank when i am outside, non of this give me any issue at all.

Either, when removing the charger some are using more force than it needs, or removing it improperly, in my experience with cell phones 20 years now.. only had this problem with Sony Ericsson K700i way back to 2005 even, but that's another story.

Great Phone. Using over a year now. Though the battery time is average, overall a complete package a phone should have. cameras are very good, build quality excellent, ergonomics are great, software is awesome. very few problems like very very rare instance of app stopping, phone needs extra care while using as it is light weight and prone to slipping.

snareminds, 28 Apr 2021Has anyone had problems with charging? Like the phone sudde... moreMost of the Samsung A Series have this problem.
First thing I advise you to do is switch fast charge off when you buy the phone it seems to kill batteries and Charging System. Most of the charging which come with the Samsung A Series are not good quality. Please buy a very expensive charging cable this might solve your problem, because the phone's Charging System can detect heat in the cable and it will stop charging. If this does not work you can buy expensive charger which temperature and reduced the current when the phone become hot when temperature and reduced the current when the phone become hot when charging.
I had this same problem on order Samsung 8 Series and managed to solve them. Please note do not use any charger or cable it can destroy the Charging System. Please use a single single charger and a single cable .if you are going to charge the phone with a power bank please use an expensive one.
On my Samsung Galaxy A31 all I did was replace the charging cable to a expensive one it solve the problem.
On my Samsung Galaxy A51 all I did was to replace the charging cable and charger to a expensive one it's solved the problem.
Most of the overheating problem is caused by apps and incompatible sensor try to switch as many apps in deep sleep as possible. Also try to turn as many sensor of as possible. Example double tapping wake screen up, fingerprint sensor, face recognition, automatic brightness and so on. Then you will realise your phone is great

This phone is complete garbage. It decides when it will charge and when it won't I can't hear callers properly. My screen just recently started flashing green until reset several times. The phone now just this morning has decided to lock itself in safe mode basically blocking me out of all my apps. This phone is hands down the worste phone I have ever owned and my first phone was a Motorola the size of a clay brick.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2021Please help me out I have been having a nagging charging pr... moreI have the same problem now with my A71. I just boughy it last February 28 and about two weeks ago, I've started to observe the charging problem. Mine stops charging at 80-89%. If I keep on charging, the battery percentage goes down, but it still indicates super fast charging. Rebooting the phone does not help and work either. I need to turn off the phone for at least 5 minutes then charge it (while it is still swicthed off) then the charging will go up to 100%. It's very incovenient. I've have had a J7 Pro for 3 years and I never encountered major problem on that phone. Very dissappointed with Samsung.

This is the sh***iest phone I own in years. Opening camera app takes ages. Under-display fingerprint reader is a joke. Because of this I'm trying to use smart lock - but it's rarely working, just with BT devices, but not with GPS location. The last time I bought a Samsung.
