I had this issue with my tab s7 which I recently purchased.
Upon updating it to UI 3.1 I have seen a large battery drain.
I think it is something Samsung is doing with A71 so that people should soon buy A72!!

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2021After the Android 11 update, the A71 4G doesn't suppor... moreFinally found a way to get VoLTE working again in the A71. It's weird that in Samsung phones, you have copy everything under your Network's APN from the internet APN to the MMS APN to XCAP and IMS APN just to get VoLTE working with the VoLTE toggle turned on. In other phones (Android One, Xiaomi) all you had to do was type a USSD code: *#*#86583#*#* and voila! VoLTE appears beside the network bars.

Updates get delayed here always. Samsung thinks that people here can wait. Also many of their products which are in high demand in other Countries do not make it to Ghana.
Example Tab S7+
Etc.
Samsung is sometimes just cunning. It assumes it can throw junk towards people in Ghana!!

Flagship S series -----> Sd 855, Sd865, sd888 exynos 990 etc in combination with top notch camera capabilities. More expensive to buy. $700 --->$1000
Mid range A series.------> Sd675, sSd710, Sd730, Sd 720g, sd765g. Weaker camera. Less expensive. $250--->$600
So my friend, you can either choose one category not combination of both. I hope this will shed more light to those that don't know the differences. The more u spend d better phone u acquire. Have a great day

You can see Volte in the settings, yes, but turning them on for both SIMs doesn't do a thing. Even a factory reset doesn't solve the VoLTE glitch, sorry. It's one of the few significant bugs associated with the update. Also, after the update, the dialer no longer recognizes *#*#4636#*#* and other important USSD codes. Also, after the factory reset, the ugly white/black Android 11, center bottom bar is there forever, chopping of significant portion of the screen at the bottom. It's not Samsung's fault though. It's part of Google's insane Android 11 design decisions. The bottom center bar is supposed to remind the user where to do the swiping navigation gestures in full screen mod which is just super dumb decision on Google's design team.
