Multimedia, 07 Aug 2023After updating this phone to android 12 & 13 my microph... moreI had that experience earlier, and if you could scroll down below and see my previous correspondence on that issue. What happened with mine was at some random point in time, when someone calls, or I call someone, they couldn't hear me, nor I them (sometimes). I had to keep restarting my phone to set it right and use normally. Also I noted that sometimes I would use earphones(normal wired) and the sound would come from the phone speaker and not through the earphones. I inquired with Samsung service centre (out of warranty) and all they did was flash the phone, and that didn't work. An IT technician at my work had a look at my phone and told me that he believes that there is an App that is hijacking the microphone. After careful investigation, I noted it to be the Bixby App. So, I disabled Bixby and so far, have not experienced that problem again. Try and see if it will work for you.

After updating this phone to android 12 & 13 my microphone on speaker call is not working like i can hear the voice of a person but the people can't hear me anyone experience this issue? Still this phone is great and working fine.

Had it since 2020, mine alsa had charging issue multiple time, but after i found a better a better service center, never had that problem anymore.
It's a pretty great phone, comfortable, no lag, OS up todate enough, and i hope i can use it for 2 more years 😅 phone these days are way too expensive and i have other priorities

Anonymous, 31 Jul 2023I have had the same issue. it was sent back twice to samsu... moreYeah i have the same issue...and when I went to service centre they told me to change the mother board which cost a lot....my smartphone didn't charged with its original charger but started charging with normal 15 watt charger...so it's take half an hour more nothing else...infact sometimes I observe it support fast charging also..which take almost the same charger as original charger...well if is well I can carry it to another 1 year...because it's a flawless phone..with amazing software updates and camera...lag is what I haven't found in this smartphone even after 3 and 1/2 years

In bought in j... moreI have had the same issue. it was sent back twice to samsung for repair(under warranty) and I ended up buying a new phone. I recently tried to charge the A71 again with the samsung super fast charger and it didn't work. Itold this to my son and then he tell me, ''no, you have to charge it with the iPad charger''. I was like are you kidding me. next thing you know, he plugs it with the Type C usb charger from a iPad pro and what do you know its charging fine now. this happend last night and I havent had the chance to recharge it yet.

i have this phone a71 , it is pretty good to be honest, since the A series of samsung usually arent that good.. this phone turned out to be very durable, smooth and comfortable to use, no issues or anything! i had it since 2021, the phone fell many times, even was thrown accidentally. only minor scratches hence the falls and got bent slightly after being smacked into a hard surface, even though the phone is still rigid and working, and nothing really happened to it. i really liked how a "budget" phone it is and powerful at the same time!

When I call someone with my A71, the Recieving person didn't hear me properly due to voice not coming or double voice or voice cut.
Also when I received whatsapp voice messages and want to click to hear, Black screen appears. After sometime or after resetting it become normal.

After the latest update the camera quality has deteriorated a lot especially when taking pictures in night mode the results are not better than before I think Samsung has done this on purpose

i have a charge issue with my Samsung A71.
In bought in june 2023, it does not charge i have already change the charger. This IS the second Time , the first Time i have change the charge connecter circuit it , why this issue appear Evry Time . I am already tire about this issue

Anyways, on the issue of problematic sound issues during calls, I'm having a suspicion that the Bixby App could be the culprit here. I have disabled the App and so far have not experienced the problem.

May be Samsung purposely making this while line on the display issue for us to change the mobile after a period of 2 years or so..

Could this be a sign Samsumg wants to finally Make people shift to newer models. It's very disappointing if this is not rectified as quickly as possible bcos I love this phone so much.
