TL;DR, if you are not forced to buy a non-Chinese phone, stay away from this phone and Samsung in general.
I came specifically to help people make up their mind about this phone and Samsung experience in 2023.
I got it early last year and I have been totally disappointed.
Everything about this phone is terrible compared to the competition:
- it is almost double the price of competition phones with same hardware
- it somehow still has unremovable bloatware still in 2023
- the battery is trash and the Google and Samsung unremovable bloatware does not help it
- the absolutely garbage design decision of putting a finger print sensor on the screen is the worst decision, first of it helps get your screen even dirtier than it is and it becomes unusable if you apply screen protectors. How can Samsung not get the message from the Chinese brands is beyond me.
- it crashes (Android) , overheats and all the support can do is enable and disable settings for you although the overall experience with them has been positive but they can't do much with a phone that has been designed to be bad.

I'm really lost for buying a new phone today, i have came to conclusion of two options a new A73 128gb for $375 or open box S21 plus 256 for $445, and ofc i have to add all of necessities myself like protection and cover and a 3.5mm dongle.. i loved the high end specs of S21+ and its camera but this is cheaper and HAS an SD slot. which one do you recommend?

But... moreEven if it's a 108mp, by default it still shoots and saves the picture in 12mp after 9-in-1 binning, equivalent to 1.92um in the case of Samsung A73's main sensor. By having such sensors, you can also get the chance to shoot in full-megapixel mode to save all the details when the surroundings are well-lit.

I was owned Redmi note 9S before purchase A73 i can surely say the Xiaomi had a better battery life !! Unfortunately galaxy A73 drain battery so fast ! Even when you turning power saving mode !!

I had this phone for about two months. Everything about this phone is excellent. Only one thing to consider if you play heavy games like COD, PUBG etc. you can’t play on max graphic frame rates, only 60frames per sec and not 90. It will only be good for 1 or 2 matches then heats up extremely hot to the point the games get glitchy. Other than that I think it’s a great phone, however get the A53 instead if you wanna save some cash and don’t mind the slightly smaller screen, specs are about the same.

I'll be honest I had an A23 5G and A33 5G, I found the A23 5G had a very good battery camera was Ok lacked detail the A33 drained to much. The A73 was the better out of the 3 IF u get it on sale

Any idea how good (or bad) is the camera? How does it compare to the A53?
It's a shame there's no real comparisons between the 2 phones just basic specs comparisons.
