My A73 have been upgrade to OS lastest version, unfortunately the wifi got poor performance. I recognized that if my phone is far from wifi router, the signal is lost frequently which I have never gotten this situation before. I wish SS will debug this problem very soon.

As a smartphone for daily use and work, the Samsung A73 is very good, the only drawback is the SOT of the battery which in my opinion could be much better than its size (5000mAh) and the camera is nothing special for its price class, the rest is good like screen quality, fingerprints, nothing hot issues and annoying bugs like any other OS.

The problem when it comes to repairing is that the spare parts end up becoming more expensive than the phone itself.
It's nice if you can get 10 hours of heavy use with a 120Hz display. Pretty interesting.

Minu, 28 Dec 2022Both of them are manageable compromises imho. I don't... moreWhile I believe most people will use the phone without earphones when they are at their home as I am one of such people, a stereo speaker is important for me. I do let my phone ring though at a smaller volume, perhaps the situation in your country and mine are just different.

However, I disagree with your claim. After using so many Android brands, personally, I feel One UI is the best Android UI out there. As for those problems, sorry but I don't really see any of it during my research before buying this phone. UFS 2.2 is just the standard when it launched, screen burn-in can happen on any phone that uses OLED and every phone is expensive when it comes to repair.

Jemlim, 28 Dec 2022Nah M52 sucks. No NFC, mono speaker…Both of them are manageable compromises imho.
I don't believe most people would dare to watch content on their phone without their earphones or keep their phone on full volume to ring when most people set it to vibrate. And the fact that most countries still don't use NFC.

After all, it's just a typical Samsung with a bloated UI, slow UFS storage, motherboard issues, non-existent water resistance, screen burn-in (because of OLED) and expensive replacement parts.

5 MP macro is fine enough, but it'll be more better if Samsung implements autofocus

trajcevasilev94, 27 Dec 2022Considering to get this phone after I'm done with my A... moreIf you don't mind not having water resistance, then it's better to get the Galaxy M52 5G imho and flash this phone's firmware. Exact same phone, despite being a year older while being cheaper. Or a flagship Samsung if you can afford it. Or the Nokia X30, if you don't mind the lack of 4K recording despite having a similar chipset, Stock Android and significantly better build quality.
Even while having a Snapdragon chipset, unfortunately GCam wouldn't work well as tried with Nokia (and certain Motorola) phones. Had to try and test with my colleagues' phones.

trajcevasilev94, 27 Dec 2022Considering to get this phone after I'm done with my A... morethe a73 will get 4 years of software update and 5 years of security update also yes the a73 has fast charging

Considering to get this phone after I'm done with my A50. The A50 has served me pretty well.

Now I'm considering either this, or A52s. I was thinking of getting the A53 but then again the A53 doesn't have some features which the A52s has. And at the same time the A53 is just newer.

Should i spend the extra money and get the A73 or should i (as I'm considering) avoid the A53 and just get the A52s?

I think that spending some extra buck and getting this device would be a better choice and do me great in the long run.

I intend to use the new device for at least some 4 - 5 years.

Would there be a drastic size - difference coming from the A50?

When i was getting the A50 i was considering between it and the A70. I ended up picking the A50 mainly because i was worried of the size difference. I don't really have deep pockets.

What would you guys say about this phone?

I'm curious how well the camera performs, how long the battery lasts (especially with 120hz mode on). Does the device overheat when playing games for a prolonged period of time? (Not that i play any games anymore, but just asking out of curiosity) How long does charging take with the 25w charger? Is it actually included in the box, or will I have to buy it separately? How is low - light performance?

And I'd assume since this phone has a Snapdragon Chipset, that I'd be able to get a custom GCAM mod which could improve the camera, right?

Does this phone have the smart charging function where the phone only charges up untill 80% and then when you wake up it finishes charging the rest?

And my final question... How long is this phone slated to get software updates? Will it get extra software updates, as Samsung once promised to deliver on certain phones?

BTW i won't be getting this phone immediately, It will probably be at least a year untill i get a new phone. Hopefully by then the price would decrease so it would be more affordable. I don't intend to wait more for a future A74, because as i heard there wouldn't be an A74 next year and instead that would get replaced by S22 FE.

The A73 literally comes with 778G and a 120hz display from Samsung itself. If the original commenter has made any research before making any comment, he/she should know clearly that Super AMOLED is a marketing term registered by Samsung. Meaning that if you see Super AMOLED, it's a display from Samsung itself.
