Got mine in 2017 and just switched to a galaxy S20 now. A7 is a surprisingly good phone even compared to the S20. The specs don't sound as impressive but it gets the job done if you only use it for basic things. Nice screen, good camera, and responsive.

I believe both have a 1080P OLED panel like the A7
and have better chips.
Doubt it's of importance but they also have in-display fingerprint

This is the best phone I've owned. Bought in 2018. So strong. I want to change to something similar. Pls suggest. But no phone is as srong as this one. But i need to upgrade my Ram. So gotta change.

I have this for almost 2 years now and it went pretty smooth until i lost the sim card tray for about 1 year i only use the internal memory storage... i know i can buy simcard tray online but if i dont put so much storage on my IMS .... and its start slowdown when the quarantine came and it worsen when i used it all day maybe the ram and rom is my problem thats why i thinking if im going to buy a simcard tray or another phone... its so hard to me to choose and also what is the best phone for all day use

hi friends I am using this phone since 2.3 years now my last update was on 5 March 2020 for a security patch february update well after this no update has come, i am wondering if at all any more update will come now as there is a policy of Samsung that they only provide update for only 2 years, well I am crossing my fingers that we also get update of 9.0 version, or else i am also looking forward for the 5g services to start as soon as possible so that I can go in for a higher phone this time. but yes shall always keep this phone with me. as this is and was the best phone which came out from the stable of Samsung mobile.

Hi my question is about a new device's battery, I bought a new (sealed) Galaxy A7 2017 in my country it was one of the last products still in stock.
I learned the device produced in 2017 July. So it was produced 3 years before. Hence, I want to ask, may the battery on the shelf have lost its capacity considerably.
I worry can 3 years on the shelf for sealed (new) device be a important problem for battery life ?

Best generation in the A series
Samsung reduced the quality and the specifications in the successors
Enough to be ip 68 it is very good and practical phone for people working in outdoor fields
I was tricked after when i bought galaxy a51 for my wife i didn't check specifications , the phone was damaged two weeks after the purchasing
