This phone is still alive ^^ due to it being Stuck on Android Oreo Installed a Custom Rom
Which is lucky that this device is supported by Lineage OS so far so good And breath new life into this phone

I have a new phone coming this jan,2020
But I have my old phone hanging on my tv
Sometime I've used it or play games, but I noticed that When I review the spects it says
(Android marshmallow 6.0.1 upgradable to Oreo 8.0)
But why my a7 2017 is running android pie. It update on september.
So kindly update the specs turn (upgradable to Oreo 8.0)
Into (Upgradable to pie 9.0 Based on One UI)

Pros :
- Decent battery level and capacity
- Good visual design of the structural chassis
- Okay-ish camera quality and features
- Has Adaptive Fast Charge feature
- Type 'C' compatible
- Charges from 0-80% in 45 mìns with a good and brand new charger head and Type 'C' cable
- Neat camera layout
Cons :
- Severly limited storage capacity
( 30GB ROM [ 24GB is avail after pre-installed software ] )
- Limited and unreliable RAM capacity
( 3GB RAM )
[ Does not allow numerous apps to run simultaneously ]
- Very slow, sluggish and unresponsive CPU processor
[ 1.9 GHZ of speed is very slow and unsatisfactory for 2017 causing phone to run very slow and unresponsively ]
- Not suitable for multi-tasking
- Unable to select custom notification tone for messages and other social media notifications
- Kinda heavy in mass weight
- Bulky in dimensions
- Doesn't comes with wireless cancer-free earpods
- Not value for money due to it's mid-high retail value
- Unable to use camera flash and camera at the same time
- Not many features as to other Samsung models
Verdict :
- Would not recommend this phone model to hardcore daily users of gamers and Youtubers.
- Doesn't fare quite well with other mid-range phones
- Heavy to carryy around
- Overall a very resilient and rugged phone with crappy storage and processor specs

Tyen, 17 Nov 2019This has been with me for more than 2yrs now. Just started ... moreSwipe down after opening the screen. You'll see the sim options at the bottom: Calls/Text/Mobile data. Tap 'mobile data' and then this will launch the sim card manager. Tap mobile data again from the 'preferred sim card' list and then select the sim you wish to use. It will then ask to change network more. Just make sure you haven't put the sim in the micro sd card slot or it won't give you the option. Cheers and good luck!

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2019How many hours does this phone last? Depends on the usage. It has the fast-charging option which is great and you can leave it for 20/30 mins and recover up to 60-75% of the battery. It's a 3600mAh battery so will last you for a day with quite heavy usage no problem. This has reduced since I've had it, but not that significantly. I've never had to carry a portable power bank with me, like I did with my previous phone, a Google Nexus, which was dire. You can fault it. Dual sim is ace and works well for me too! Enjoy it! Cheers

Anonymous, 24 Sep 2019Can I install for Emirates region A720F ?I assume the update "pie" available for A7 (2017) Korean region A720S wouldn't work on the Emirates region A720F, the Korean region A720S version comes with a single SIM card and doesn't have a compass sensor.
I'll be delighted if someone confirms wither my conclusion is true or false based on his/her real trial.
