I bought the phone in 2019 and used it for more than 3 years, no big problem except for the battery now drop pretty fast but in general, it's still one of the best phone i have used.

    Yeah, the phone takes a long time to charge. Even when fed with 2.4A and higher mAh values. The charger that comes with the phone seems to be the best option. It still takes about 3+ hours to fully charge.

I just shut off the device and put it away for 1-2 hrs, delete some useless apps and caches, then it went back normal again. Had no clue why it happened

          My phone was working fine for more than 3 years. But recently, sometimes photos I have taken are disappeared from the gallery after taking them. This issue started about 3 months ago. Anyone who has faced the problem and resolved it, please reply to me about how did you deal with it and resolved it.

                i've bought this phone when its new release and yeah it stand strong till now. i love the camera, the sound, especially the storage. but, i faced some problems for the last few months, like the battery dropped very quickly and sometimes it restart on its own when i opened some apps. but over all, i liked it and i knew that maybe the problems raised because i've already used it for 4 years till now.

                  I bought this phone in 2019 and i used that to be my main phone, Galaxy A7 gave me a good experience and i very love this

                        I bought my A7 in 2019 used and it has worked perfectly for me for 3 years that i have used it. Now its starting to get a bit laggy and the battery starts dropping faster but it is expected from a 4 year old android.

                            I have been using this phone for the last 3 years and basically this is the worst phone I ever used. Less than a year of using, it started having charging issues and the battery died later. Now it could take 12 hours charging and you could find it's only 50 %. The cameras are awful after updates. Speakers died long time ago. This phone made me hate Samsung for real. Pathetic.

                              I don't know how I managed to quote the wrong person - my post below was supposed to be connected with the statement that this is the best phone somebody owned, not that phone has issues with the battery, sorry for the confusion.

                                I switched to this phone after having Samsung Galaxy S5 mini for ages (that one still works fine to this day, it just doesn't really support newer apps so it is slow compared to this phone, but for basic use it's perfectly fine so I gave it to a guy who just needed basic features), and I don't have any issues.

                                Apart from being kinda "downgraded" after te pie upgrade in the very beginning (which we all have experienced) this phone has been the same - I didn't notice it slowing down, battery last for a whole day unless you play games or scroll instagram for hours and hours and hours, if fully charges within 2 hours and I'm still satisfied with it.
                                I didn't even put a front screen protection on it and it didn't get even the tinyest scratch (and I don't really take special care of it, I put it in my pocket together with the keys and other stuff which could scratch it but there's not any damage).
                                I only put the back protection (the most basic transparent soft silicone sleeve), and the only reason I put it because this phone is very slippery and falls from any smooth surface really easily, if that was not the issue I wouldn't use any protection at all.

                                I may not recommend this phone for people who'd buy it now, I mean it is a perfectly fine phone and doesn't have any issues even after 3 years of use, but newer Samsung models in the A range aren't really expensive either but have more updated features and will continue to be updated for much longer. Last update for this one was in september and I'm not really sure are we gonna get any more updates?

                                So to summarise - would I buy this phone now? - NO (even though you can't go too wrong even if you buy it now for a good deal)
                                Do I plan to buy a new phone as long as this one continues to work fine? - Also NO
                                Same as with my S5 mini - I'll continue to use this phone until it starts lagging and being too slow for more and more updated apps, but I think this guy will continue doing it's job for at least two more years.

                                    The best smartphone I have used so far. I got it in 2018 and still using it with no issues at all.
