kate, 01 Feb 2016i also experience same problem...is yours already fixed??..Gray shade which you guys are talking about is nothing,it comes when you view the picture in gallery where you have those icons at the bottom as share, edit, delete so when you touch the screen the icons disappear and so does the gray shade.
