Too long/tall. 158 mm vs Note 5 at 153 - both with a 5.7 inch display. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is 157 mm tall and it has a 6 inch display, so you are getting a bigger display on a more compact device then the A8.

Have any of you faced any auto restart problems like in A8 that was there with A7?? Does the silver rim/edge/coating get scratches if one use cases , what abt hardware part?? is it ok or very dilicate kinda phone?

Hi.. Im currently using A7 but not very happy with d phone, intially on day 1 its had auto restart problems, took it to d cc SC and gt it replaced, the other phones ok n evn though its just 2 months old it looks shabby bcz the silver coating is getting scratches inspite of using a silicon case. and if i dont use those cases its getting chipped if any hard object brushes by,jus a touch gives a dent.. so i wanted to know if A8 has any auto restrt problems and does the silver rim,coating get scartches too??

I have bought the Samsung Galaxy A8 and since then I am in the awe of the technology used within the phone, having an I phone 5s and a blackberry z10 in the past , I would say this piece of art is the finest phone for the price range, backed superior display , excellent battery life , the most sleek design , Iam very happy with the performance not a minute of lag or heating issue, its one of the best phone for the price , and can give the I phone 6 a run for its money as it has a 32gb in built plus an external memory card slot and a brilliant way of adjusting the light before click a picture in the camera wow.

Hi there,
i bought a galaxy A8 everything seems fine except sdcard does not read on my fone. Could any1 help me out. Ive tried multiple sdcard yet when i click storage it says insert sdcard. Please help........

Don't listen to others comment,it more confusing to you...just pick the right one trust your heart. A8 is a good phone anyway...others can give you advice but taste is comeback to your heart.
